ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଦେଖ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀମାନଙ୍କର ଗାଈ କିଅବା ମଷେ ବଣା ହାଇେ ୟିବାର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାଙ୍କର ମାଲିକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରୋଇ ଦବେ।
1
You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely bring them again to your brother.
2
ଯଦି ତା'ର ମାଲିକ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୂର ରେ ବାସ କରିଥାଏ, କାଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ର ମାଲିକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜାଣି ନ ଥାଅ, ତବେେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଇୟୋଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପାଖ ରେ ତା'ର ମାଲିକ ଖାଜେି ଖାଜେି ଆସିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ରଖିପାରିବ। ଏହାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତା'ର ମାଲିକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଫରୋଇ ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।

If your brother isn't near to you, or if you don't know him, then you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seek after it, and you shall restore it to him.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀଙ୍କ ଗଦର୍ଭ ପାଇଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଠିକ୍ ସହେିପରି କର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। ଯଦି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଗା କିଅବା ଅନ୍ୟ କିଛି ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ହରାଇଥାନ୍ତି।

So shall you do with his donkey; and so shall you do with his garment; and so shall you do with every lost thing of your brother's, which he has lost, and you have found: you may not hide yourself.
4
ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀମାନଙ୍କର ଗଧ ଅବା ଗାଈ ବାଟରେ ପଡି ୟିବାର ଦେଖିବ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉଠାଇ ଦବେ କିଅବା ଉଠାଇବା ରେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ।

You shall not see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen down by the way, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely help him to lift them up again.
5
ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପୋଷାକ ପିନ୍ଧିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ଜଣେ ପୁରୁଷ କବେବେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକର ପୋଷାକ ପିନ୍ଧିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଘୃଣା ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ଅଟେ।

A woman shall not wear men's clothing, neither shall a man put on women's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God.
6
ପଥ ପାଶର୍ବସ୍ଥ କୌଣସି ଗଛ ରେ କିଅବା ଭୂମିରେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖ ରେ କୌଣସି ପକ୍ଷୀର ବସା ରେ ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆ କିଅବା ଡିମ୍ବ ଥାଏ ଏବଂ ସହେି ଡିମ୍ବ ଉପରେ ବା ପକ୍ଷୀ ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆ ଉପରେ ଯଦି ମା ପକ୍ଷୀ ବସିଥାଏ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ସହିତ ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିବ ନାହିଁ।

If a bird's nest chance to be before you in the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the hen sitting on the young, or on the eggs, you shall not take the hen with the young:
7
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତା'ର ପକ୍ଷୀ ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣି ପାରିବ କିନ୍ତୁ ତା'ର ମା' ପକ୍ଷୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତ କରିଦବେ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ନିଯମଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ମାନିବ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦୀର୍ଘଜୀବୀ ହବେ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହବେ।

you shall surely let the hen go, but the young you may take to yourself; that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days.
8
ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏକ ନୂତନ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କର, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ଛାତର ଚତକ୍ସ୍ଟଃପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ପାଚରେୀ ଉଠାଇବ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଛାତ ଉପରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଡି ମରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦୋଷୀ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

When you build a new house, then you shall make a battlement for your roof, that you don't bring blood on your house, if any man fall from there.
9
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ବୀଜ ରୋପଣ କର ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି ଯଦି କର, ଯେଉଁ ବୀଜ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଣା ୟାଇଥିଲା ବା ଯେଉଁ ଫଳ ଫଳିଛି, ସଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟମତି ଦିଆୟିବ ନାହିଁ।
9
You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole fruit be forfeited, the seed which you have sown, and the increase of the vineyard.
10
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବଦଳ ଓ ଗଧ ଏକତ୍ର ୟୋଡି ଗ୍ଭଷ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.
11
ଏପରି ପୋଷାକ ପିନ୍ଧି ନାହିଁ, ଯାହାକି ରେଶମ ଓ ଲାଇଲନ୍ ସୂତା ରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ହାଇେଥିବ।

You shall not wear a mixed stuff, wool and linen together.
12
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଶରୀର ରେ ଉତ୍ତରୀଯ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଗ୍ଭରି ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ରେ ଝକ୍ସ୍ଟଐା ବନାଇବ।
12
You shall make you fringes on the four borders of your cloak, with which you cover yourself.
13
ଜଣେ ପୁରୁଷ ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିବାହ କରି ତା'ସହିତ ଶାରୀରୀକ ସଐର୍କ ରଖି ଯବେେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରେ ଘୃଣା କରେ।

If any man take a wife, and go in to her, and hate her,
14
ଯଦି ତାହା ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମନ୍ଦ କଥା ଆରୋପ କରେ ଓ ତା'ର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟର୍ନାମ କରେ କି, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିବାହ କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାତ୍ର ସହବାସ କାଳ ରେ ଏହାର କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବ ଲକ୍ଷଣ ପାଇଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ।'
14
and lay shameful things to her charge, and bring up an evil name on her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came near to her, I didn't find in her the tokens of virginity;
15
ତବେେ ସହେି କନ୍ଯାର ପିତାମାତା ତାହାର କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବର ପ୍ରମାଣ କୌମାର୍ୟ୍ଯର ଚିହ୍ନ ନଇେ ନଗର ଫାଟକରେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିବେ।
15
then shall the father of the young lady, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the young lady's virginity to the elders of the city in the gate;
16
ସହେି କନ୍ଯାର ପିତା ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଲୋକ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭ କନ୍ଯାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିବାହ ଦଲେକ୍ସ୍ଟ।
16
and the young lady's father shall tell the elders, I gave my daughter to this man to wife, and he hates her;
17
ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘୃଣା କଲା, ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସେ ତାହା ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମନ୍ଦକଥା ଆରୋପ କରି କହକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି କି, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ କନ୍ଯାର କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବ ଲକ୍ଷଣ ପାଇଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ।' ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭ କନ୍ଯାର କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବର ଚିହ୍ନ ଏହି।' ତହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ ସମାନେେ ନଗରସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ସହେି ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଗା ମଲୋଇ ଦବେେ।
17
and, behold, he has laid shameful things to her charge, saying, I didn't find in your daughter the tokens of virginity; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. They shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
18
ଏହାପରେ ନଗରର ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନେ ସହେି ପୁରୁଷକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧରି ଶାସ୍ତି ଦବେ।
18
The elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him;
19
ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ସମାନେେ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶ ହେ ଶକେଲ ରୂପା ଦଣ୍ତ କରି କନ୍ଯାର ପିତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦବେ। କାରଣ ସେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଏକ କନ୍ଯା ଉପରେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟର୍ନାମ ଦଇେଛି। ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତା'ର ଭାର୍ୟ୍ଯା ହବେ। ସେ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ପାଇଁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
19
and they shall fine him one hundred shekels of silver, and give them to the father of the young lady, because he has brought up an evil name on a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
20
ମାତ୍ର କଥା ଯବେେ ସତ୍ଯ ହବେ ଯେ କନ୍ଯାର କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବର ଚିହ୍ନ ଦଖାେ ନୟାଏ।

But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young lady;
21
ତବେେ ସମାନେେ ସହେି କନ୍ଯାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ପିତୃ ଗୃହର ଦ୍ବାର ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିବେ। ଆଉ ନଗରସ୍ଥ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଥର ଫିଙ୍ଗ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବେ। କାରଣ ପିତୃଗୃହ ରେ ୟୌନକ୍ରିଯା ଜନିତ ପାପ ବ୍ଯଭିଗ୍ଭର କରିବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧିଅରେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କର୍ମ କଲା। ଏହି ଉପାଯ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କର୍ମ ଦୂର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
21
then they shall bring out the young lady to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done folly in Israel, to play the prostitute in her father's house: so shall you put away the evil from the midst of you.
22
ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣେ ବିବାହିତ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ଶାରୀରୀକ ୟୌନ ସଐର୍କ ଥିବାର ଦେଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାଅ। ସେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟହିଁଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦିଆୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏହି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କର୍ମ ଦୂରକରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
22
If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman: so shall you put away the evil from Israel.
23
ଯବେେ କୌଣସି କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବ କନ୍ଯା ସହିତ କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ପ୍ରତି ବାଗ୍ଦତ୍ତା ଥାଏ ଓ କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଗର ମଧିଅରେ ପାଇ ତାହା ସହିତ ଶଯନ କରେ।
23
If there be a young lady who is a virgin pledged to be married to a husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
24
ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ଦୁଇଜଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ନଗରଦ୍ବାର ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣି ପଥର ଫିଙ୍ଗି ହତ୍ଯା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍। କାରଣ ସହେି କନ୍ଯା ନଗର ମଧିଅରେ ଥାଇ ମଧ୍ଯ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲା ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ସହେି ପୁରୁଷ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀର ଭାର୍ୟ୍ଯାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ କଲା। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏହି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍କର୍ମ ଦୂର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
24
then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones; the lady, because she didn't cry, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbor's wife: so you shall put away the evil from the midst of you.
25
କିନ୍ତୁ ଧରାଯାଉ ଏକ କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀ କନ୍ଯା କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲା ସମୟରେ ଯଦି କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟୌନ ସଐର୍କ ପାଇଁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରେ ତବେେ କବଳେ ସହେି ପୁରୁଷକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରାୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
25
But if the man find the lady who is pledged to be married in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her; then the man only who lay with her shall die:
26
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି କନ୍ଯା ପ୍ରତି କିଛି କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ସହେି କନ୍ଯାଠା ରେ ପ୍ରାଣଦଣ୍ତ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ପାପ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ କୌଣସି ମନକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଯ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ ଉଠି ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଧକରେ, ଏହି କଥା ଠିକ୍ ସହେିପରି ଅଟେ।
26
but to the lady you shall do nothing; there is in the lady no sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbor, and kills him, even so is this matter;
27
କାରଣ ସହେି ପୁରୁଷ ଜଣକ ସହେି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯାରତ ବାଳିକାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ମଧିଅରେ ପାଇ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲା। ସେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲା ତଥାପି ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ କହେି ନ ଥିଲେ,
27
for he found her in the field, the pledged to be married lady cried, and there was none to save her.
28
ଯଦି କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ଅବାଗ୍ଦତ୍ତା କକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରୀତ୍ବ କନ୍ଯାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧରି ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଶଯନ କରେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଧରା ପଡନ୍ତି।
28
If a man find a lady who is a virgin, who is not pledged to be married, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29
ତବେେ ତାହା ସହିତ ଶଯନକାରୀ ସହେି ପୁରୁଷ କନ୍ଯାର ପିତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଗ୍ଭଶ ଶକେଲ ରୂପା ଦବେ ଓ ସେ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ କରିବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସେ ତାହାର ଭାର୍ୟ୍ଯା ହବେ। ସହେି ପୁରୁଷ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
29
then the man who lay with her shall give to the lady's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has humbled her; he may not put her away all his days.
30
କୌଣସି ପୁରୁଷ ଆପଣା ପିତୃଭାର୍ୟାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଆପଣା ପିତାର ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଅନାବୃତ୍ତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
30
A man shall not take his father's wife, and shall not uncover his father's skirt.
