1
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ହତାଶ ହବୋର ଆବଶ୍ଯକତା ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୁକର୍ମ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଇର୍ଷା କର ନାହିଁ।

By David. Don't fret because of evil-doers, Neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
2
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଘାସ ଓ ସବୁଜ ଲତା ତୁଲ୍ଯ ୟାହା ଖୁବ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଧୂସର ହାଇେ ମରିୟାଏ।
2
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither like the green herb.
3
ୟଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରଖିବ ଓ ସୁକର୍ମ କରିବ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା' ହେଲେ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ରହିବ ଓ ଅନକେ ଜିନିଷ ଉପଭୋଗ କରିବ ୟାହା ସହେି ଭୂମିରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାଇବ।

Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାର ସୁଖଭୋଗ କର ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଚ୍ଛା ପୂରଣ କରିବେ।

Also delight yourself in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart.
5
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖ। ତାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କର ଓ ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ୟାହା କରିବା କଥା ସଫଳ କରିବେ।

Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:

ତୁମ୍ଭର ସାଧୁତା ଓ ନ୍ଯାଯପ୍ରିଯତା ମଧ୍ଯାହ୍ନର ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ କିରଣ ଭଳି ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳ ଆ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁ।

He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, And your justice as the noon day sun.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କର ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କର। ହତାଶ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସଫଳ ହୁଏ। ହତାଶ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଯୋଜନାରେ ସଫଳ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।

Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
8
କୋର୍ଧ ତ୍ଯାଗ କର। କୋପ ତ୍ଯାଗ କର। ଏତେ ଅର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, ୟାହାଫଳରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ବସିବ।
8
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing.
9
କାରଣ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପାଇବେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ସମଗ୍ର ଭୂମିକୁ ନିଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରିପାରିବେ। ଏହା ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେଠାରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଛନ୍ତି।

For evildoers shall be cut off, But those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.
10
ଆଉ ଅଳ୍ପ ଦିନପରେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ନ ଥିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖାଜେିଲେ ବି ଆଉ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଆଉ ନ ଥିବେ।
10
For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn't there.
11
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ ୟେ, ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ ଭୂମି ପାଇବେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଉପ ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।
11
But the humble shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12
ପାପୀଷ୍ଠ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧର୍ମାତ୍ମାମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କୁମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରନ୍ତି। ସହେି ଅଧର୍ମୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧାର୍ମୀକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ସମାନଙ୍କେ କୋର୍ଧ ଦଖାେନ୍ତି ଓ ରାଗରେ ଦାନ୍ତ କଡ଼ମଡ଼ କରି ଥାଆନ୍ତି।

The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth.

କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ପରିହାସ କରିବେ। ସେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି ୟେ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଦିନ ସରି ଆସୁଛି।
13
The Lord will laugh at him, For he sees that his day is coming.
14
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଖଣ୍ଡା, ଧନୁ ତୀର ଧରି ବାହାରି ପଡ଼ନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିପାତ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି।

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To kill those who are upright in the way.
15
କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଧନୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗିୟିବ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଖଣ୍ଡା ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନିଜ ହୃଦଯରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ।
15
Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken.
16
ଧାର୍ମୀକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଳ୍ପ ଥିଲେ ବି ତାହା ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ଧନୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଉତ୍ତମ ଅଟେ।
16
Better is a little that the righteous has, Than the abundance of many wicked.
17
କାରଣ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପାଇବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
17
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But Yahweh upholds the righteous.
18
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଦା ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସାରା ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅଧିକାର ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ଥାଯୀ ରୁ ହେ।
18
Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever.
19
ଯେତବେେଳେ ବିପଦ ଆସେ ସେତବେେଳେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ପଡ଼ିବ ସେତବେେଳେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲେଶକ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପାଇବେ।
19
They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20
କିନ୍ତୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁ ଓ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପାଇବେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଉପତ୍ୟକା ସବୁ ଶୁଖି ଜଳିୟିବ। ସମାନେେ ସୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପାଇବେ।
20
But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish� Vanish like smoke.
21
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଖୁବ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଟଙ୍କା ଋଣ କରେ ଓ କବେେ ତାକୁ ପରି ଶାଧେ କରେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତାକୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଣ୍ଟି ଦିଏ।
21
The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, But the righteous give generously.
22
ୟଦି ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରେ ତା' ହେଲେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ମୁତାବକ ସମାନେେ ଭୂମି ପାଇବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ୟଦି ସମାନେେ କୁକର୍ମ ସବୁ ଘଟୁ ବୋଲି କୁହନ୍ତି, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେେ।
22
For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
23
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ସତ୍ ମାର୍ଗରେ ଜୀବନ ଧାରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ତାହା କରେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଖୁସି ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
23
A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.
24
ସମାନେେ ଝୁଣ୍ଟି ପଡ଼ିବେ ନାହିଁ କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କରନ୍ତି।

Though he stumble, he shall not fall, For Yahweh holds him up with his hand.
25
ମୁଁ ୟୁବା ଥିଲି ଓ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ବୁଢ଼ା ହଲିେଣି ଓ ମୁଁ କବେେ ଦେଖିନାହିଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ କବେେ ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ ୟେ, ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଙ୍କର ପିଲାମାନେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଭିକ୍ଷାବୃତ୍ତି କରନ୍ତି।
25
I have been young, and now am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his children begging for bread.
26
ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସବୁକିଛି ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଇଦେିଏ। ତଣେୁ ତା'ର ପିଲାମାନେ ଏକ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦସୂଚକ।
26
All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His seed is blessed.
27
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ୟଦି ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ମନା କର ଓ ୟଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭଲକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କର, ତା' ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ବଞ୍ଚି ରହିବ।
27
Depart from evil, and do good; Live securely forever.
28
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନ୍ଯାଯକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ଅନୁସରଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ତଣେୁ ସମାନେେ ଚିରଦିନ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେେ।
28
For Yahweh loves justice, And doesn't forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, But the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
29
ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକାମନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମୁତାବକ ରାଜ୍ଯ ପାଇବେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ଚିରଦିନ ବାସ କରିବେ।

The righteous shall inherit the land, And live in it forever.
30
ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଜ୍ଞାନର ଉପଦେଶ ଦିଏ। ତା'ର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ଯାଯ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ।
30
The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice.
31
ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପଦେଶ ସବୁ ଶିଖିଥାଏ। ତଣେୁ ସେ କବେେ ହେଲେ ସହେି ପଥରୁ ବିଚ୍ଯୁତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
31
The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
32
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସବୁବେଳେ ମାରିବାକୁ ଜଗି ବସିଥାଆନ୍ତି।

The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to kill him.
33
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କେ ହବେଲେେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦବେେ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର କବେେ ହେଲେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
33
Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
34
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅନୁସରଣ କର ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କର। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ବିଜଯୀ କରାଇବେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ମୁତାବକ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରାଜ୍ଯ ଫରେି ପାଇବ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଛାଡ଼ି ଚାଲିଯିବେ।
34
Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, And he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
35
ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିଲି ୟିଏକି ଅତି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଏକ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଭଳି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଥିଲା।
35
I have seen the wicked in great power, Spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
36
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଆଜି ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅନକେ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଖାଜେିଲି କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପାଇଲି ନାହିଁ।
36
But he passed away, and, behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37
ସିଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ହୁଅ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଶାନ୍ତିକୁ ଭଲପାଆନ୍ତି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅନକେ ବଂଶଧର ବଢ଼ି ଚାଲିବେ।
37
Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, For there is a future for the man of peace.
38
କିନ୍ତୁ ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ସୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପାଇବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବଂଶଧରମାନେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡ଼ିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ ହବେେ।
38
As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଦା ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହିଁ ସହେି ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂକଟ ସମଯରେ ଏକମାତ୍ର ବଳ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଅସୁବିଧାରେ ପଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
39
But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
40
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କବଳରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ।
40
Yahweh helps them, and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked, and saves them, Because they have taken refuge in him.
