1ମାରେ ଜୀବନସାରା ବହୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ମାେତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ, ଏହାକୁ ଆଉଥରେ କୁହ।

1A Song of Ascents. Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say,

2ମାେ ଜୀବନସାରା ବହୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ମାେତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ କବେେ ମାେତେ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

2Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, Yet they have not prevailed against me.

3ସମାନେେ ମାେ ପିଠିରେ ଗଭୀର କ୍ଷତ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଆଘାତ କରନ୍ତି। ମାରେ ପିଠି ହଳ କରା ପଡ଼ିଆ ପରି ଜଣାଗଲା।

3The plowers plowed on my back. They made their furrows long.

4କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟିଏ ୟାହା ଠିକ୍ କରନ୍ତି, ସହେି ରଜ୍ଜୁ କାଟି ପକାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।

4Yahweh is righteous. He has cut apart the cords of the wicked.

5ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ସିୟୋନ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ। ସମାନେେ ଅଟକି ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ ଏବଂ ଅନୁଧାବିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।

5Let them be disappointed and turned backward, All those who hate Zion.

6ସମାନେେ ଗୃହର ଛାତ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ତୃଣତୁଲ୍ଯ ବଢ଼ିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଶୁଖି ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ।

6Let them be as the grass on the housetops, Which withers before it grows up;

7ୟପରେି କଟାଳି ତା'ର ହଳୋପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିପାରେ ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ବିଡ଼ା ବନ୍ଧନକାରୀ ଆପଣା ଅଣ୍ଟି ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରେ ନାହିଁ।

7With which the reaper doesn't fill his hand, Nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.

8ତାଙ୍କ ବାଟ ଦଇେ ଯାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଙ୍ଗଳ କରନ୍ତୁ। କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରୁଛୁ।

8Neither do those who go by say, "The blessing of Yahweh be on you. We bless you in the name of Yahweh."
