1ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପରିବାର ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ନତେୃବର୍ଗଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆଶାବାଡି ନିଅନ୍ତୁ। ସହେି ଆଶାବାଡି ଉପରେ ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିର ନାମ ଲେଖ।
2Speak to the children of Israel, and take of them rods, one for each fathers' house, of all their princes according to their fathers' houses, twelve rods: write you every man's name on his rod.
3ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲବେୀର ଆଶାବାଡି ରେ ହାରୋଣର ନାମ ଲେଖିବ। କାରଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପିତୃଗୃହର ଅଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଆଶାବାଡି ହବେ।
3You shall write Aaron's name on the rod of Levi; for there shall be one rod for each head of their fathers' houses.
4ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁର ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ସମ୍ମୁ ରେ ଏହିସବୁ ଆଶାବାଡି ସହେିଠା ରେ ରଖ । ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଦଖାେ କରେ।
4You shall lay them up in the tent of meeting before the testimony, where I meet with you.
5ଏହା କଲା ପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଯାଜକରୂପେ ମନୋନୀତ କରିବା ତାହାର ଆଶାବାଡି ପଲ୍ଲବିତ ହବେ। ଆଉ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ସେଥିରୁ ସମାନେେ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ରହିବେ।
5It shall happen, that the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall bud: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against you.
6ଯେତବେେଳେ ମାଶାେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ ଅନୁସାରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନତେୃବର୍ଗମାନେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆଶାବାଡି ନେଲେ। ଏହିରୂପେ ସମାନେେ ବାରଟି ଆଶାବାଡି ତାକୁ ଦେଲେ। ସେଥି ମଧିଅରେ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କର ଏକ ଆଶାବାଡି ଥିଲା।
6Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
7ତହୁଁ ମାଶାେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖର ନିଯମ ତମ୍ବୁ ରେ ସମସ୍ତ ସହୟୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ରଖିଲେ।
7Moses laid up the rods before Yahweh in the tent of the testimony.
8ଏହାପରେ ଆରଦିନ ମାଶାେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ତମ୍ବୁ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଦେଖିଲେ, ଲବେୀ ଗୃହ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଥିବା ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ଆଶାବାଡି ଅଙ୍କୁରିତ ହାଇେଅଛ, ପୁଣି ଏହି ଅଙ୍କୁର ବାହାର ହେଲା। ଫୁଲ ଫୁଟିଲା ଓ ପକ୍ବ ବାଦାମ ଫଳିଲା।
8It happened on the next day, that Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and put forth buds, and produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
9ତହୁଁ ମାଶାେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ସହେିସବୁ ଆଶାବାଡି ଆଣି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଦଖାଇେଲେ, ସମାନେେ ତାହା ଦେଖି ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଆଶାବାଡି ନେଲେ।
9Moses brought out all the rods from before Yahweh to all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
10ତା'ପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ଆଶାବାଡିକୁ ନିଯମତମ୍ବୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ରଖ। ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସତର୍କ ସ୍ବରୂପ ରଖାୟିବ। ସମାନେେ ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହବେେ ଓ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଉ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବି ନାହିଁ।
10Yahweh said to Moses, Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their murmurings against me, that they not die.
11ତେଣୁ ମାଶାେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅନୁସାରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ।
11Thus did Moses: as Yahweh commanded him, so did he.
12ଏହାପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମରିବୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେୁ।
12The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone.
13ଯେ କହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସୁଛି, ସେ ମରୁଅଛି, ଏହା କ'ଣ ସତ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାଣ ଛାଡି ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବୋ?
13Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tent of Yahweh, dies: shall we perish all of us?
