ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା। ସେ କହିଲେ,

The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,
2
ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର, ସଠାେ ରେ ଏକ ମାତାର କନ୍ଯା ଦୁଇ ଭଉଣୀ ଥିଲେ।
2
Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3
ସମାନେେ କିଶୋରୀ ସମୟରେ ମିଶର ରେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିଣୀ ହେଲେ। ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସ୍ତନ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦିତ ହେଲା ଓ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କୌମାର୍ୟ୍ଯକାଳୀନ କୁଚାଗ୍ର ମନ୍ଥନ କଲେ।

and they played the prostitute in Egypt; they played the prostitute in their youth; there were their breasts pressed, and there was handled the bosom of their virginity.

ଜ୍ଯଷ୍ଠୋର ନାମ ଅହଲା ଓ ତା'ର ଭଗିନୀର ନାମ ଅହଲୀବା ଥିଲା। ସମାନେେ ମାରେ ପତ୍ନ ହେଲେ ଓ ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ଯା ପ୍ରସବ କଲେ। ବଡ ଭଉଣୀ ଅହଲା ଶମରିଯା ଅଟେ ଓ ସାନ ଭଉଣୀ ଅହଲୀବା ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ଅଟେ।

The names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister: and they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.

ଆଉ ଅହଲା ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଅବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ହାଇେ ପ୍ ରମେ କଲା। ସେ ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀ ଅଶୂରୀଯ ପ୍ ରମେିକଗଣଠା ରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା।

Oholah played the prostitute when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,

ସମାନେେ ନୀଳରଙ୍ଗ ପୋଷାକ ପରିହିତ ଦଶାେଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ଓ ଶାସନ କତ୍ତୃର୍ଗଣ। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ୟୁବକ ଏବଂ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହୀ ଥିଲେ।

who were clothed with blue, governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.

ଏବଂ ସେ ଅଶୂରର ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କଲେ। ସେ ଯେକୌଣସି ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ ରମେ ରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ଥିଲା। ସେ ତା'ର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆପଣାକୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କଲା।

She bestowed her prostitution on them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them; and on whoever she doted, with all their idols she defiled herself.
8
ଆଉ ସେ ମିଶରଠାରୁ ତା'ର ପ୍ ରମେ ବୃତ୍ତି ତ୍ଯାଗ କରି ନ ଥିଲା। କାରଣ ୟୌବନ କାଳରୁ ମିଶର ତା' ସହିତ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିଥିଲା। ସମାନେେ ତାହାର କୌମାର୍ୟ୍ଯକାଳୀନ କୁଚାଗ୍ର ଟିପିଲେ ଓ ତା' ସହିତ ଅତିଶଯ ପ୍ ରମେ କଲେ।

Neither has she left her prostitution since the days of Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her, and they handled the bosom of her virginity; and they poured out their prostitution on her.

ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ପ୍ ରମେିକଗଣର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେ ପ୍ ରମେ ରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହାଇେଥିଲା ସହେି ଅଶୂରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ତାହାକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲୁ।

Therefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, on whom she doted.
10
ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ଧର୍ଷଣ କଲେ, ସମାନେେ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ଯାଗଣକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ଏବଂ ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଉପହାସର ବିଷଯ ହେଲା। କାରଣ ଅଶୂରୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାକୁ ବଦନୋପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେଲେ।

These uncovered her nakedness; they took her sons and her daughters; and her they killed with the sword: and she became a byword among women; for they executed judgments on her.
11
ଆଉ ତା'ର ଭଗିନୀ ଏସବୁ ଦେଖି ମଧ୍ଯ ବେଶ୍ଯାବୃତ୍ତି ରେ ଓ ପ୍ ରମାେଶକ୍ତି ରେ ତାହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟା ହେଲା। ତା'ର ଭଗିନୀର ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିତାଠାରୁ ସେ ଅଧିକ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିଣୀ ହେଲା।

Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet was she more corrupt in her doting than she, and in her prostitution which were more than the prostitution of her sister.

ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ଅଶୂରୀଯ ଦଶାେଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ଶାସନ କତ୍ତୃର୍ଗଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲାା ସମାନେେ ନୀଳରଙ୍ଗ ପୋଷାକ ପରିହିତ ସୁନ୍ଦର ୟୁବକ ଓ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହୀ ଥିଲେ।

She doted on the Assyrians, governors and rulers, her neighbors, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.
13
ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ଅନୁତାପ କଲି ଯେ, ସେ ଦୁ ହେଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ରାସ୍ତା ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଥିଲେ, ସହେି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ କରୁଥିଲେ, ଯାହା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କଲା।

I saw that she was defiled; they both took one way.
14
ଏବଂ ଅହଲୀବା ନିଜର ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିତା ବଢ଼ାଇଲା। ସେ କାନ୍ଥ ରେ ବିଚିତ୍ର କଲଦୀଯ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ଲାଲରଙ୍ଗ ପୋଷାକ ପରିହିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଦେଖିଲା।

She increased her prostitution; for she saw men portrayed on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,
15
ସମାନଙ୍କେ କଟୀ ରେ ଅଣ୍ଟାବିନ୍ଧା ଥିଲା, ମସ୍ତକରେ ରଙ୍ଗ ଚିତ୍ରିତ ଭୂଷଣ ଥିଲା। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ କଲଦୀଯ ଦେଶଜାତ ବାବିଲୋନୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ରୂପ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଧିପତିଗଣର ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ।
15
girded with girdles on their loins, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them princes to look on, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.
16
ପୁଣି ଅହଲୀବା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ ରମେ ରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା ଓ କଲଦୀଯ ଦେଶରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଡ଼କାଇଲା।

As soon as she saw them she doted on them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.
17
ତେଣୁ ବାବିଲୋନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ପ୍ ରମେ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କ୍ରିଯାଦ୍ବାରା ତାକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଦ୍ବାରା ତୁଚ୍ଛ ହବୋ ପ ରେ, ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହେଲେ।

The Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their prostitution, and she was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.
18
ଏହିରୂପେ ସେ ନିଜର ବେଶ୍ଯାବୃତ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲା ଓ ନିଜର ଉଲଗ୍ନତା ଅନାବୃତ କଲା। ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ତା'ର ଭଗିନୀଠାରୁ ବିମୁଖ ହେଲା ପରି ତା'ଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିମୁଖ ହଲିେ।

So she uncovered her prostitution, and uncovered her nakedness: then my soul was alienated from her, like as my soul was alienated from her sister.
19
ସେ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ତା'ର ବେଶ୍ଯାବୃତ୍ତି ବଢ଼ାଇ ଚାଲିଲା। ୟୌବନ କାଳ ରେ ମିଶର ଦେଶ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ବେଶ୍ଯାକର୍ମ କରିଥିଲା ତାହାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ସେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କଲା।

Yet she multiplied her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth, in which she had played the prostitute in the land of Egypt.
20
ଆଉ ସେ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ପରି ୟୌନାଙ୍ଗ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଅଶ୍ବପରି ରତେ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଉପପତିମାନଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଆସକ୍ତା ହେଲା।
20
She doted on their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of donkeys, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.
21
ହେ ଅହଲୀବା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ୟୌବନ କାଳ ରେ ମିଶରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର କୁଚାଗ୍ରକୁ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ କରାଉଥିଲ, ସହେି ପ୍ରକାର ଲମ୍ଫଟତାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁଛ।
21
Thus you called to memory the lewdness of your youth, in the handling of your bosom by the Egyptians for the breasts of your youth.
22
ଏଣୁ ହେ ଅହଲୀବା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, 'ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ୍ ପ୍ ରମେିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଉଠାଇବି। ସହେି ପ୍ ରମେିକମାନେ ୟିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ହତାଶ କଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଘରେି ଯିବେ। ମୁଁ ଏହା ଘଟିବାକୁ କାରଣ କରିବି।

Therefore, Oholibah, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side:
23
ବାବିଲୋନୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ସମୁଦାଯ କଲଦୀଯ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପକୋଦ, ଶୋଯା, କୋଯା ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସମୁଦାଯ ଅଶୂରୀଯ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିବି। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ୟୁବକ, ଦଶାେଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ, ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା, ଅଧିପତିଗଣ, ବିଖ୍ଯାତ ଲୋକ ଓ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହୀ।

the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them; desirable young men, governors and rulers all of them, princes and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.
24
ସମାନେେ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର, ରଥ ଓ ଅଶ୍ବ ସହିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣକୁ ଧରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆସିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଚର୍ମ, ଢ଼ାଲ ଓ ଟୋପର ଧରି ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବେଢ଼ିଯିବେ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରିବି ଓ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଧି ଅନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାସ୍ତି ବିଧାନ କରିବେ।

They shall come against you with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with a company of peoples; they shall set themselves against you with buckler and shield and helmet round about; and I will commit the judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.
25
ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମାରେ ହିଂସାର ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେ କୋପ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଘାତ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାସିକା ଓ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ କାଟି ପକାଇବେ ଓ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ପତିତ ହବେେ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ଯାଗଣକୁ ନଇେଯିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହବେେ।

I will set my jealousy against you, and they shall deal with you in fury; they shall take away your nose and your ears; and your residue shall fall by the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; and your residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26
ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିବସ୍ତ୍ରା କରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଅଳଙ୍କାର ସବୁ ନଇେଯିବେ।

They shall also strip you of your clothes, and take away your beautiful jewels.
27
କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିତାଠାରୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଅସାର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମିଶର ସହିତ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବି। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିଶର ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇବ ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଉ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।'

Thus will I make your lewdness to cease from you, and your prostitution brought from the land of Egypt; so that you shall not lift up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.
28
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଘୃଣା କରୁଅଛ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାଣ ବିମୁଖ ହାଇେଅଛି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବି।

For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will deliver you into the hand of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your soul is alienated;
29
ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଘୃଣ୍ଯ ଭାବରେ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ପରିଶ୍ରମର ଫଳ ହରଣ କରିବେ। ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଲଗ୍ନା ଓ ବିବସନା କରି ଛାଡ଼ି ଦବେେ। ତଦ୍ଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର ଜନିତ ଉଲଗ୍ନତା, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲମ୍ଫଟତା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବେଶ୍ଯାବୃତ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇବ।
29
and they shall deal with you in hatred, and shall take away all your labor, and shall leave you naked and bare; and the nakedness of your prostitution shall be uncovered, both your lewdness and your prostitution.
30
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ଅନୁଗାମିନୀ ହାଇେ ବେଶ୍ଯାବୃତ୍ତି କରିଅଛ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ଦ୍ବାରା ନିଜକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରିଅଛ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଏସବୁ କରାୟିବ।
30
These things shall be done to you, because you have played the prostitute after the nations, and because you are polluted with their idols.
31
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ଭଗିନୀର ପଥ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିଅଛ। ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ତା'ର ପାନପାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦବେି।
31
You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore will I give her cup into your hand.
32
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି,
32
Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You shall drink of your sister's cup, which is deep and large; you shall ridiculed and had in derision; it contains much.
33
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମତ୍ତ ହାଇେ ଶାେକରେ ଆତୁର ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭଗିନୀ ଶମରିଯାର ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲାପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାତ୍ର ଧ୍ବଂସ ଓ ବିନାଶ ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବେ।
33
You shall be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.
34
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ପାତ୍ରରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷ ନିଗାଡ଼ି ପାନ କରିବ ଏବଂ ସହେି ପାତ୍ରକୁ ଫିଙ୍ଗି ଖଣ୍ଡ ବିଖଣ୍ଡିତ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ତନକୁ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବ। କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହୁଅଛି।

You shall even drink it and drain it out, and you shall gnaw the broken pieces of it, and shall tear your breasts; for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh.
35
ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପାଶୋରି ଦଇେଛ ଓ ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପଛ ରେ ପକାଇ ଛାଡ଼ି ଚାଲିୟାଇଛ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଘୃଣ୍ଯ ଚିନ୍ତାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଓ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିତାର ପାଇଁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ସହିବ।'

Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have forgotten me, and cast me behind your back, therefore bear you also your lewdness and your prostitution.
36
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଅହଲାର ଓ ଅହଲୀବାର ବିଚାର କରିବ ? ତବେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଘୃଣା ଯୋଗ୍ଯ କ୍ରିଯାସବୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଜଣାଅ।

Yahweh said moreover to me: Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? then declare to them their abominations.
37
କାରଣ ଏହି ଯେ ସମାନେେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର ରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହସ୍ତ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ରକ୍ତ ପାତ କରିବା ରେ ଓ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ସହ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମାଠାରୁେ ଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ।

For they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands; and with their idols have they committed adultery; and they have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass through the fire to them to be devoured.

ସମାନେେ ମାରେ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଅଶୁଚି ଓ ମାରେ ବିଶଷେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my Sabbaths.

ଏବଂ ଠିକ୍ ସହେି ଦିନ ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଆପଣା ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମାରେ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଅଗଣାକୁ କଳୁଷିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆସିଥିଲେ।

For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, behold, thus have they done in the midst of my house.
40
ଦୂରରୁ ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଆସିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦୂତ ପଠାଇଲ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ ରରେିତ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ନାନ କଲ, ଆଖି ରେ ଅଞ୍ଜନ ଦଲେ ଓ ଅଳଙ୍କାର ବିଭୂଷିତା ହେଲ।

Furthermore you have sent for men who come from far, to whom a messenger was sent, and, behold, they came; for whom you did wash yourself, paint your eyes, and deck yourself with ornaments,

ପୁଣି ରାଜକୀଯ ଶୟ୍ଯା ରେ ବସି, ତାହା ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ମଜେ ସଜ୍ଜାଇ ତାହା ଉପ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧୂପ ଓ ତୈଳ ରଖିଲ।

and sit on a stately bed, with a table prepared before it, whereupon you did set my incense and my oil.

ଗୋଟିଏ ଶବ୍ଦ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଶୁଣା ହେଲା। ସହେି ଶବ୍ଦ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଭୋଜିପରି ଶବ୍ଦ ଥିଲା। ବହୁତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆସିଲେ, ମଦ୍ଯପ ଲୋକମାନେ ମରୁଭୂମିରୁ ପହଞ୍ିଲେ। ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ କଙ୍କଣ ଓ ମସ୍ତକରେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ମୁକୁଟ ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ।

The voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with men of the common sort were brought drunkards from the wilderness; and they put bracelets on the hands of them twain, and beautiful crowns on their heads.

ତବେେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କ୍ରିଯା ରେ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଟିକୁ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, 'ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସମାନେେ ତା' ସଙ୍ଗେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର ପାପ କରିବେ ଓ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗେ କରିବ ?'

Then said I of her who was old in adulteries, Now will they play the prostitute with her, and she with them.
44
ଲୋକମାନେ ବେଶ୍ଯା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲା ପରି ସମାନେେ ତା' ନିକଟକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି। ଏହିପରି ସମାନେେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅହଲା ଓ ଅହଲୀବା ନିକଟକୁ ଗମନ କଲେ।

They went in to her, as they go in to a prostitute: so went they in to Oholah and to Oholibah, the lewd women.
45
କିନ୍ତୁ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିଣୀ ଓ ରକ୍ତପାତକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାରାନୁସା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଚାର କରିବେ। ଏହି କାରଣ ୟୋଗୁ ସମାନେେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିଣୀ ଓ ନରହତ୍ଯାର ରକ୍ତ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଅଛି।

Righteous men, they shall judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, and with the judgment of women who shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
46
ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କର ଏବଂ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅହଲା ଓ ଅହଲୀବାକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋକୁ ଓ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ।

For thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will bring up a company against them, and will give them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.
47
ସହେି ଦିନ ସମାନ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରାଘାତ କରିବେ ଓ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବଧ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଗୃହସବୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବେ।

The company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall kill their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.

ଏହିରୂପେ ମୁଁ ଏ ଦେଶରୁ ଲମ୍ଫଟତା ଦୂର କରିବି। ତଦ୍ଦ୍ବାରା ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଲମ୍ଫଟତା ପରି ଆଚରଣ ନ କରିବାକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ।

Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.
49
ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରିତା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦବେେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀଯ ପାପ ସକଳର ଭାର ବହନ କରିବ। ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିବ।

They shall recompense your lewdness on you, and you shall bear the sins of your idols; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
