ଓଡ଼ିଆ ବାଇବେଲ
କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଣେ ଧନୁର୍ଦ୍ଧର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ଯହୀନ ଭାବରେ ତା' ଧନୁକୁ ତୀରଟିଏ ମାରିଲା। ସହେି ତୀରଟି ଆସି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ଆହାବଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଏକ ସନ୍ଧି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବାଜିଲା। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ରଥଚାଳକକୁ କହିଲେ, ରଥକୁ ଫରୋଇ ନିଅ ଓ ମାେତେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରୁ ନଇୟୋଅ। ମୁଁ ଆଘାତପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହାଇେଅଛି।

A certain man drew his bow at a venture, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of the chariot, Turn your hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am sore wounded.
