ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲେ ତା'ପରଦିନ ପ୍ରତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯଷରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କ ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ଗଲେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ଶାମୁୟେଲଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଶାଉଲ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର କର୍ମିଲ୍ ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଶାଉଲ ସଠାେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମାନାର୍ଥେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। ଶାଉଲ ସବୁଆଡେ ୟାତ୍ରା କରି ସାରିବା ପରେ ଗିଲଗଲ୍ ରେ ପହନ୍ଚିବେ।

Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning; and it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a monument, and turned, and passed on, and went down to Gilgal.
