1खुशी हौ र परमेश्वर हाम्रो शक्ति हुनुहुन्छ भनी गीत गाऊ। इस्राएल का परमेश्वर तर्फ कराउँदै खुशी मनाऊ।
1For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. By Asaph. Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!
2संगीत प्रारम्भ गर। खैंजडीहरू बजाऊ। सुरमय वीणा बजाऊ।
2Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, The pleasant lyre with the harp.
3जब हाम्रो विश्राम शुरू हुन्छ। पूर्णिमा लागेको बेला तुरही फुक, औंसी परेको बेला नरसिङ्ग फुक।
3Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, At the full moon, on our feast day.
4त्यो इस्राएल का मानिसहरूको निम्ति नियम हो। परमेश्वरले याकूबलाई आज्ञा दिनुभयो।
4For it is a statute for Israel, An ordinance of the God of Jacob.
5जब परमेश्वरले यूसूफलाई मिश्रबाट निकाली ल्याउनु भयो परमेश्वरले उनीसित यो करार गर्नुभयो। मिश्रमा हामीले नजानेको भाषा सुन्यौ।
5He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony, When he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn't know.
6परमेश्वर भन्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरूको काँधको भारी मैले लिएँ। मैले तिमीहरूको कर्मीको डोको तिमीहरूको हातबाट लिए।
6"I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.
7तिम्रा मानिसहरू संकटमा थिए। तिनीहरूले गुहार माँगे र मैले मुक्त पारें। तुफान बोकेको बादलहरूमा म लुकिरहेको थिएँ। त्यहीबाट मैले जवाफ दिएँ, मैले तिनीहरूलाई मरीबाकोपानीद्वारा जाँच गरे।”
7You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah." Selah.
8“मेरो मानिसहरू ध्यान देऊ, अनि मेरो कुरा सुन। म तिमीहरूलाई मेरो करार-वचन दिनेछु। इस्राएल , कृपया मेरो कुरा ध्यानले सुन।
8"Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!
9कुनै पनि कृत्रिम देवताहरू नमान जुन विदेशीहरूले मान्दछन्।
9There shall be no strange god in you, Neither shall you worship any foreign god.
10म, परमप्रभु, तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ, मैले तिमीहरूलाई मिश्रबाट निकालेर ल्याएँ। इस्राएल , तिमीहरू मुख खोल अनि म खुवाउने छु।
10I am Yahweh, your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
11“तर मेरो मानिसहरू, तिमीहरूले मेरो कुरा सुनेनौ। इस्राएल ले मेरो आज्ञा पालन गरेन।
11But my people didn't listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
12यसैले तिनीहरू जे-जे चाहन्छन् त्यही गर भनेर छाडी दिएँ, इस्राएल ले आफ्नो मनले चाहेको गर्यो।
12So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, That they might walk in their own counsels.
13यदि मेरो मानिसहरूले मेरो कुरा मानेको भए अनि मेरो तरिका अनुसार बसेको भए।
13Oh that my people would listen to me, That Israel would walk in my ways!
14तब म तिनीहरूको शत्रुहरूलाई हराउने थिएँ। म त्यस्ता मानिसहरूलाई दण्ड दिने थिएँ जसले इस्राएल मा संकटहरू ल्याउँदछ।
14I would soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries.
15परमप्रभुका शत्रुहरू डरले काम्नेछन्। तिनीहरूलाई सदा दण्ड दिइनेछ।
15The haters of Yahweh would cringe before him, And their punishment would last forever.
16परमेश्वरले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई उत्तम गहुँ दिनुभयो। चट्टानलेतृप्त नहुञ्जेल सम्म तिनीहरूलाई मह दिए।”
16But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock."
