परमेश्वर मोशे व अहरोन यांना म्हणाला,
1
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2
“लेवी लोकांपैकी कहाथी कुळांच्या लोकांची त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांच्या घराण्याप्रमाणे गणती कर. (हे लोक लेवीच्या कुळापैकीच होते)
2
"Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
3
सैन्यात सेवा केलेल्या तीस ते पन्नास वर्षांच्या पुरुषांची दर्शनमंडपात सेवा करण्यासाठी गणती कर.
3
from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
4
दर्शनमंडपातील परमपवित्र वस्तूची त्यांनी काळजी घ्यावी.

This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, the most holy things.

“इस्राएल लोक आपला तळ नवीन जागी हलवितील तेव्हा अहरोन व त्याच्या मुलांनी दर्शनमंडपात जाऊन अंतरपट खाली काढावा व त्याने पवित्र कराराचा कोश झाकावा.

When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
6
मग त्यांनी ह्या सर्वावर तहशाच्या कातड्याचे आच्छादन घालावे व त्यावर संपूर्ण निळ्या रंगाचे कापड पसरावे व मग कराराच्या कोशाला दांडे लावावे.

and shall put a covering of sealskin on it, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles.
7
“मग त्यांनी पवित्र मेजावर निळ्या रंगाचे कापड पसरावे व त्यावर तबके, धूपपात्रे, वाट्या व पेयार्पणे ओतण्याचे पेले ठेवावे; त्याचप्रमाणे पवित्र भाकरही त्यावर ठेवावी.

On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.
8
मग त्या सर्वांवर किरमिजी रंगाचे कापड पसरावे व नंतर ते सर्व तहशाच्या उत्तम कातड्याने झाकून टाकावे; त्यानंतर मेजाला दांडे बसवावे.

They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
9
मग त्यांनी दीपवृक्ष आणि त्यावरील दिवे, तसेच दिवे सतत तेवत ठेवण्याकरिता लागणारी सर्व उपकरणे चिमटे, ताटल्या आणि दिव्यासाठी लागणाऱ्या तेलाची सर्व पात्रे ही सर्व निळ्या कापडाने झाकावी.

They shall take a blue cloth, and cover the lampstand of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.
10
मग ह्या सर्व वस्तू त्यांनी तहशाच्या उत्तम कातड्याने लपेटून घ्याव्यात आणि हे सर्व वाहून न्यावयाच्या खांबांवर त्यांनी ठेवावे.

They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.
11
“त्यांनी सोन्याच्या वेदीवर निळे कापड पसरावे. ते तहशाच्या उत्तम कातड्याने झाकावे व मग वेदीला वाहून नेण्याचे दांडे बसवावे.

On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
12
“मग पवित्र स्थानातील उपासनेसाठी लागणारी सर्व उपकरणे त्यांनी गोळा करावीत व ती निळ्या कापडात गुंडाळावीत; त्यावर तहशाच्या उत्तम कातड्याचे आच्छादन टाकावे आणि मग हे सर्व त्यांनी वाहून नेणाऱ्या चौकटीवर ठेवावे.

They shall take all the vessels of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.
13
“मग त्यांनी वेदीवरील सर्व राख काढून ती स्वच्छ करावी व तिच्यावर जांभळ्या रंगाचे कापड पसरावे.
13
They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.
14
नंतर त्यांनी वेदीच्या सेवेची सर्व उपकरणे म्हणजे अग्निपात्रे, काटे, फावडी व कटोरे हे वेदीचे सर्व सामान गोळा करुन ते वेदीवर ठेवावे; मग तिच्यावर तहशाच्या उत्तम कातड्याचे आच्छादन घालावे व मग तिला वाहून नेण्याचे दांडे बसवावेत.

They shall put on it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the shovels, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.
15
“अहरोन व त्याचे मुलगे ह्यांनी पवित्रस्थानातील सर्व पवित्र वस्तूवर आच्छादन टाकण्याचे पूर्ण करावे; मग कहाथी लोकांनी आत जावे आणि त्या वस्तू वाहून नेण्याचे काम सुरु करावे; अशा प्रकारे ते पवित्र वस्तूंना स्पर्श करणार नाहीत आणि मरणार नाहीत.

"When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting.
16
“पवित्र निवासमंडप व त्यातील सर्व सामान व उपकरणे म्हणजे पवित्रस्थान व त्यातील दिव्यांना लागणारे तेल. सुगंधी धूप, रोजची अन्नार्पणे व अभिषेकाचे तेल ह्या सर्वांची जबाबदारी अहरोन याजकाचा मुलगा एलाजार ह्याने घ्यावी.”

"The charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings."

परमेश्वर मोशे व अहरोन ह्यांना म्हणाला,
17
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
18
“सावध राहा! कहाथी लोकांचा नाश होऊदेऊ नका;
18
"Don't cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
19
तुम्ही ही कामे करावीत म्हणजे मग कहाथी लोक परम पवित्र स्थानाजवळ जातील तेव्हा ते मरणार नाहीत; अहरोन व त्याचे मुलगे ह्यांनी परमपवित्रस्थानात जाऊन कहाथी लोकांतील एकेका माणसाला त्याने कोणकोणत्यावस्तू वाहून न्याव्यात ते सांगावे व ते दाखवावे.
19
but thus do to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach to the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them everyone to his service and to his burden;
20
जर तुम्ही असे करणार नाही तर मग कहाथी लोक कदाचित आत जातील व पवित्र वस्तू त्यांच्या नजरेस पडतील आणि त्यांनी तसे क्षणभर जरी पाहिले तरी ते मरतील.”
20
but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die."
21
परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,
21
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
22
“गेर्षोन वंशातील पुरुषांची गणना कर आणि त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्यांच्याप्रमाणे त्यांची यादी कर;
22
"Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers' houses, by their families;
23
म्हणजे तीस ते पन्नास वर्षे वयाच्या ज्या लोकांनी सैन्यात सेवा केली आहे अशा लोकांची गणती कर; दर्शनमंडपाची देखभाल करण्याचे काम त्यांच्याकडे राहील.

from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shall you number them; all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
24
“गेर्षोनी कुळांनी करावयाची सेवा व वाहावयाची ओझी ही अशी:
24
This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25
त्यांनी पवित्र निवासमंडपाचे पडदे, दर्शनमंडप व त्याचे आच्छादन आणि तलमशा उत्तम कातड्याचे आच्छादन तसेच दर्शनमंडपाच्या प्रवेशद्वाराचा पडदा,
25
they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above on it, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26
पवित्रनिवासमंडप व वेदी ह्यांच्या भोंवतीच्या अंगणाच्या कनातीचे पडदे, तसेच अंगणाच्या प्रवेश दाराजा पडदा, सर्व तणावे व त्यांच्याबरोबर लागणारी उपकरणे, हे सर्व सामान गेर्षोनी कुळांनी वहावे; आणि ह्या सामानासंबंधी जे काही काम पडेल ते त्यांनी करावे;
26
and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. Therein shall they serve.
27
अहरोन आणि त्याचे मुलगे यांनी झालेल्या सर्व कामाची पाहणी करावी. त्यांनी गेर्षोनी लोक जे जे वाहून नेतील आणि इतर जे काही काम करतील त्यावरही नजर ठेवावी. तुम्ही त्यानी वाहावयाच्या वस्तूची कल्पना त्यांना द्यावी. ते वाहून नेत असलेल्या वस्तूची जबाबदारी त्यांच्यावर आहे असे त्यांना सांगावे

At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and you shall appoint to them in charge all their burden.
28
गेर्षोनी कुळातील लोकांची दर्शनमंडपातली ही सेवा आहे. अहरोन याजकाचा मुलगा इथामार ह्याच्यावर त्यांच्या कामाची जबाबदारी राहील.”

This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29
“मरारी वंशजांचीही, त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्या प्रमाणे गणती कर.
29
"As for the sons of Merari, you shall number them by their families, by their fathers' houses;
30
म्हणजे तीस ते पन्नास वर्षेच्या वयाच्या दलात सेवा केलेल्या पुरुषांची गणती कर. हे लोक दर्शनमंडपातील विशेष सेवा करतील.
30
from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old shall you number them, everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
31
तुम्ही जेव्हा पुढील प्रवासासाठी निघाल तेव्हा दर्शनमंडपाचा सांगाडा वाहून नेण्याचे काम त्यांनी करावे.

This is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle's boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,
32
तसेच सभोंवतीच्या अंगणाचे खांब, उथळ्या, तंबूच्या मेखा, तणावे आणि अंगणाच्या खांबासाठी लागणारी इतर उपकरणे, इत्यादी सर्वसामान वाहून नेण्याचे काम मरारी लोकांचे आहे. त्या माणसांच्या नावांवी यादी करा व प्रत्येकाने नेमके काय वाहून न्यायचे ते त्याला सांगा.
32
and the pillars of the court around it, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name you shall appoint the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33
दर्शनमंडपाची कामे करिताना मरारी कुळातील पुरुषांनी ही सेवा करावी त्यांच्या कामासाठी अहरोन याजकाचा मुलगा इथामार हा जबाबदार राहील.”
33
This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest."
34
मोशे, अहरोन व इस्राएल लोकांचे पुढारी ह्यांनी कहाथी लोकांची, त्यांची कुळे व वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे गणती केली.
34
Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
35
त्यांनी, सैन्यात सेवा केलेल्या तीस ते पन्नास वर्षे वयाच्या पुरुषांची गणती केली. दर्शनमंडपासाठी त्यांना खास काम दिले गेले होते.

from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting.
36
हे काम करण्यास दोन हजार सातशे पन्नास कहाथी लोक पात्र ठरले.
36
Those who were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.
37
तेव्हा त्यांना दर्शनमंडपात पवित्र सेवा करण्याचे काम देण्यात आले. मोशे व अहरोन ह्यांनी, परमेश्वराने मोशेला सांगितल्या प्रमाणे हे केले.
37
These are those who were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
38
तसेच गेर्षोनी वंशजांचीही, त्यांची कुळे व वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे गणती करण्यात आली;
38
Those who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers' houses,
39
म्हणजे सैन्यात सेवा केलेल्या तीस ते पन्नास वर्षे वयाच्या सर्व पुरुषांची गणती करण्यात आली. त्यांना दर्शनमंडपासाठी करण्यासाठी विशेष काम दिले गेले होते.

from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,
40
तेव्हा दर्शनमंडपात काम करण्यास दोन हजार सहाशें तीस गेर्षोनी लोक पात्र ठरले.
40
even those who were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.
41
तेव्हा त्यांना दर्शनमंडपात पवित्र काम देण्यात आले. मोशे व अहरोन ह्यांनी, परमेश्वराने मोशेला सांगितल्याप्रमाणे हे केले.
41
These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh.
42
त्याचप्रमाणे मरारी वंशजांचीही, त्यांची कुळे व त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे गणती करण्यात आली,

Those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
43
म्हणजे सैन्यात सेवा केलेल्या तीस ते पन्नास वर्षे वयाच्या सर्व पुरुषांची गणती करण्यात आली.
43
from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,
44
तेव्हा तीन हजार दोनशें मरारी लोक दर्शनमंडपात काम करण्यास पात्र ठरले.
44
even those who were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.
45
तेव्हा त्यांना त्यांचे विशेष काम देण्यात आले. मोशे व अहरोन ह्यांनी, परमेश्वराने मोशेला सांगितल्याप्रमाणे हे केले.
45
These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
46
तेव्हा मोशे, अहरोन व इस्राएलाचे पुढारी ह्यांनी सर्व लेवी लोकांची गणती, त्यांची कुळे व वाडवडिलांची घराणी ह्याप्रमाणे केली.
46
All those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
47
तीस ते पन्नास वर्षे वय असलेल्या व सैन्यात सेवा केलेल्या पुरुषांची गणती करण्यात आली; त्यांना दर्शनमंडपासाठी खास काम देण्यात आले. इस्राएल लोकांचे प्रवासात दर्शनमंडप वाहून नेण्याचे विशेष सेवेचे काम त्यांना देण्यात आले.

from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,
48
त्यांची एकूण संख्या आठ हजार पांचशे ऐंशी होती.
48
even those who were numbered of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49
तेव्हा परमेश्वराने मोशेला आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे प्रत्येक माणसाची गणती करण्यात आली; प्रत्येक माणसाला त्याने स्वत: करावयाचे काम नेमून देण्यात आले व त्याने काय वाहून न्यावयाचे ते सांगण्यात आले. हे सर्व परमेश्वराने आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे करण्यात आले.

According to the commandment of Yahweh they were numbered by Moses, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they numbered by him, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
