कारण नियमशास्त्र मानवी दुर्बलता असलेल्या मनुष्याची मुख्य याजक म्हणून नेमणूक करते. परंतु नियमशास्त्रानंतर शपथेचे वचन देण्यात आल्यामुळे पुत्र हा सर्वकाळासाठी परिपूर्ण असा मुख्य याजक झाला.

For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.
