काही काळानंतर परमेश्वराने अब्राहामाला पुन्हा दर्शन दिले. अब्राहाम तेव्हा मम्रेच्या एलोन झाडांच्या राईत राहात होता. एके दिवशी भर दुपारी कडक उन्हाच्या वेळी अब्राहाम आपल्या तंबूच्या दाराशी बसला होता.
