लेवींनी आपली शेती आणि शिवारे सोडली आणि ते यहूदा व यरुशलेम येथे आले. परमेश्वराप्रीत्यर्थ याजकाचे काम करायला यराबाम आणि त्याचे मुलगे यांनी लेवींना प्रतिबंध केला म्हणून ते आले.
