1ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮೂರ್ಖನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
1For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Mahalath." A contemplation by David. The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is no one who does good.
2ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನು ಇದ್ದಾನೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು ಆಕಾ ಶದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ
2God looks down from heaven on the children of men, To see if there are any who understood, Who seek after God.
3ಎಲ್ಲರು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೊಲೆಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಇಲ್ಲ, ಒಬ್ಬನಾ ದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
3Every one of them has gone back. They have become filthy together. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
4ರೊಟ್ಟಿತಿನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸದೆ ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡುವವರು ಅರಿ ಯರೋ?
4Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And don't call on God?
5ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭಯ ಭ್ರಾಂತರಾದರು; ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಂಡು ಇಳಿ ಸುವವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಚದರಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಬಂದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು. ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಸಂತೋಷಿ ಸುವನು.
5There they were in great fear, where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you. You have put them to shame, Because God has rejected them.
6ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಬಂದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು. ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಸಂತೋಷಿ ಸುವನು.
6Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of his people, Then Jacob shall rejoice. Israel shall be glad.
