1ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನಳೋ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
1Every wise woman builds her house, But the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.
2ತನ್ನ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ರತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
2He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh, But he who is perverse in his ways despises him.
3ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನ ಬಾಯಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ವದ ಅಂಕುರವಿದೆ; ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವವು.
3The fool's talk brings a rod to his back, But the lips of the wise protect them.
4ಎತ್ತುಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರು ವಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋದಲಿಯು ಶುದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಎತ್ತಿನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಹಳ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯು ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
4Where no oxen are, the crib is clean, But much increase is by the strength of the ox.
5ನಂಬತಕ್ಕ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡನು; ಅಬದ್ದಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಉಚ್ಚರಿ ಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5A truthful witness will not lie, But a false witness pours out lies.
6ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವನು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಡು ಕಿದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿದೆ.
6A scoffer seeks wisdom, and doesn't find it, But knowledge comes easily to a discerning person.
7ನೀನು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಹೋಗು.
7Stay away from a foolish man, For you won't find knowledge on his lips.
8ಜಾಣನ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವಂತ ದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ; ಮೂಢರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನತೆಯು ಮೋಸಕರ.
8The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, But the folly of fools is deceit.
9ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೀತಿ ವಂತರಲ್ಲಿ ದಯೆ ಇದೆ.
9Fools mock at making atonement for sins, But among the upright there is good will.
10ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಕುಲ ತೆಯು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಪರನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
10The heart knows its own bitterness and joy; He will not share these with a stranger.
11ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮನೆಯು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರ ಗುಡಾರವು ಏಳಿಗೆಯಾಗುವದು.
11The house of the wicked will be overthrown, But the tent of the upright will flourish.
12ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯೆಂದು ತೋರುವ ಮಾರ್ಗ ವಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಮರಣದ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೇ.
12There is a way which seems right to a man, But in the end it leads to death.
13ನಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೃದಯವು ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಇರು ವದು; ಅದರ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ವ್ಯಾಕುಲವೇ.
13Even in laughter the heart may be sorrowful, And mirth may end in heaviness.
14ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂಜರಿಯುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ತೃಪ್ತಿಹೊಂದುವನು.
14The unfaithful will be repaid for his own ways; Likewise a good man will be rewarded for his ways.
15ಮೂಢರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಜಾಣನು ತನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಗಮನಿಸುವನು.
15A simple man believes everything, But the prudent man carefully considers his ways.
16ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಯು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗು ವನು; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನು ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
16A wise man fears, and shuns evil, But the fool is hotheaded and reckless.
17ಮುಂಗೋಪಿಯು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ.
17He who is quick to become angry will commit folly, And a crafty man is hated.
18ಮೂಢರು ಮೂರ್ಖತನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯರಾಗು ತ್ತಾರೆ; ಜಾಣರು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
18The simple inherit folly, But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
19ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಿಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಬಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ದ್ವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಗ್ಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
19The evil bow down before the good, And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.
20ಬಡವನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಂದ ಹಗೆಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವನು; ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಿಗೆ ಬಹು ಜನ ಮಿತ್ರರು.
20The poor person is shunned even by his own neighbor, But the rich person has many friends.
21ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡುವವನು ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬಡವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರ ತೋರಿ ಸುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು.
21He who despises his neighbor sins, But blessed is he who has pity on the poor.
22ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲವೇ? ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಕರುಣೆಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವೂ ಇರುವವು.
22Don't they go astray who plot evil? But love and faithfulness belong to those who plan good.
23ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಯಾಸ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಭವಿದೆ; ತುಟಿಗಳ ಮಾತು ಬಡತನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ದಾರಿ.
23In all hard work there is profit, But the talk of the lips leads only to poverty.
24ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರ ಕಿರೀಟವು ಅದರ ಐಶ್ವ ರ್ಯವೇ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನತೆಯು ಅವರ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವೇ.
24The crown of the wise is their riches, But the folly of fools crowns them with folly.
25ಸತ್ಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮೋಸದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ.
25A truthful witness saves souls, But a false witness is deceitful.
26ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯವೇ ಬಲವಾದ ಭರವಸವು; ಆತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಇರುವದು.
26In the fear of Yahweh is a secure fortress, And he will be a refuge for his children.
27ಮರಣದ ಪಾಶಗಳಿಂದ ತೊಲಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯವು ಜೀವದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆ.
27The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life, Turning people from the snares of death.
28ಜನ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನ ಘನತೆ ಇದೆ; ಜನರ ಕೊರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರನ ನಾಶ.
28In the multitude of people is the king's glory, But in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince.
29ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಧಾನಿಸು. ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತನು ದೊಡ್ಡವಿವೇಕಿ; ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತುರಪಡುವವನು ಮೂಢ ತೆಯನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಮಾಡುವನು.
29He who is slow to anger has great understanding, But he who has a quick temper displays folly.
30ಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾದ ಹೃದಯವು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಜೀವ; ಮತ್ಸರವು ಎಲುಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಯವು.
30The life of the body is a heart at peace, But envy rots the bones.
31ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸುವನು; ಆತನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವವನು ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
31He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, But he who is kind to the needy honors him.
32ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ದುಷ್ಟತನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂಕ ಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ.
32The wicked is brought down in his calamity, But in death, the righteous has a refuge.
33ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ನೆಲೆ ಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರಲ್ಲಿರುವದು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
33Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding, And is even made known in the inward part of fools.
34ನೀತಿಯು ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಾದರೂ ಪಾಪವು ಅವಮಾನವಾಗಿದೆ.ಜ್ಞಾನ ವುಳ್ಳ ಸೇವಕನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅರಸನ ದಯೆ ಇದೆ; ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಿಸುವವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವನ ರೌದ್ರವಿದೆ.
34Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people.
35ಜ್ಞಾನ ವುಳ್ಳ ಸೇವಕನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅರಸನ ದಯೆ ಇದೆ; ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಿಸುವವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವನ ರೌದ್ರವಿದೆ.
35The king's favor is toward a servant who deals wisely, But his wrath is toward one who causes shame.
