1ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಆರು ದಿನಗಳ ಮುಂಚೆ ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ಲಾಜರನು ಇದ್ದ ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಬಂದನು.
1Then six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
2ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಔತಣವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಮಾರ್ಥಳು ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಳು. ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತವರಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಜರನೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
2So they made him a supper there. Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with him.
3ಆಗ ಮರಿಯಳು ಬಹು ಬೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಅಚ್ಚ ಜಟಾಮಾಂಸಿ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಸೇರಷ್ಟು ತಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲಿನಿಂದ ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಒರಸಿದಳು; ಆ ತೈಲದ ಪರಿ ಮಳವು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
3Mary, therefore, took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
4ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅಂದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೂದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತನು--
4Then Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said,
5ಈ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
5"Why wasn't this ointment sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor?"
6ಅವನು ಬಡವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚಿಂತಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ , ಅವನು ಕಳ್ಳನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಹಣದ ಚೀಲವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದ ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
6Now he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and having the money box, used to steal what was put into it.
7ಆಗ ಯೇಸು--ಈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವ ದಿವಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈಕೆಯು ಇದನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
7But Jesus said, "Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of my burial.
8ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಬಡವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
8For you always have the poor with you, but you don't always have me."
9ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ತಿಳಿದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ಲಾಜರನನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
9A large crowd therefore of the Jews learned that he was there, and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರು ಲಾಜರನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
10But the chief priests conspired to put Lazarus to death also,
11ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅನೇಕ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.
11because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.
12ಮರುದಿನ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಯೇಸು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ
12On the next day a great multitude had come to the feast. When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಗರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಹೊಸನ್ನ, ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದರು.
13they took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and cried out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!"
14ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡನು;
14Jesus, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written,
15ಹೀಗೆ--ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ಕುಮಾ ರಿಯೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
15"Don't be afraid, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt."
16ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲು ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಇವು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೆಂದೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
16His disciples didn't understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.
17ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಲಾಜರನನ್ನು ಸಮಾ ಧಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
17The multitude therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb, and raised him from the dead, was testifying about it.
18ಆತನು ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ ಜನರು ಸಹ ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡರು.
18For this cause also the multitude went and met him, because they heard that he had done this sign.
19ಆದದರಿಂದ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯತ್ನವೇನೂ ಸಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇಗೋ, ಲೋಕವು ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.
19The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, "See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him."
20ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲ ವರು ಗ್ರೀಕರಿದ್ದರು.
20Now there were certain Greeks among those that went up to worship at the feast.
21ಇವರು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಬೇತ್ಸಾಯಿದವನಾದ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಅಯ್ಯಾ, ನಾವು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
21These, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we want to see Jesus."
22ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಬಂದು ಅಂದ್ರೆಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ದನು; ಅಂದ್ರೆಯನೂ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನೂ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
22Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn, Andrew came with Philip, and they told Jesus.
23ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದುವ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದದೆ.
23Jesus answered them, "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತೇನೆ--ಗೋದಿಯ ಕಾಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಯ ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವದು; ಅದು ಸತ್ತಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳ ಫಲಕೊಡುವದು.
24Most assuredly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
25He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.
26ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವವನಾದರೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಲಿ; ನಾನು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ಇರುವನು; ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವವನಾದರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವನು.
26If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there will my servant also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
27ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ತತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ? ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಈ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸು; ಆದರೆ ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಈ ಗಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಬಂದೆನು.
27"Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say? 'Father, save me from this time?' But for this cause I came to this time.
28ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿಕೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ--ನಾನು ಮಹಿ ಮೆಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂತು.
28Father, glorify your name!" Then there came a voice out of the sky, saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."
29ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ--ಗುಡುಗಿತು ಅಂದರು. ಬೇರೆಯವರು--ದೂತ ನೊಬ್ಬನು ಈತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದರು.
29The multitude therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him."
30ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಈ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ನನಗೋ ಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
30Jesus answered, "This voice hasn't come for my sake, but for your sakes.
31ಈಗ ಈ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಇಹಲೋಕದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಈಗ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವನು.
31Now is the judgment of this world. Now the prince of this world will be cast out.
32ನಾನು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ರನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಎಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
32And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself."
33ತಾನು ಎಂಥಾ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಸಾಯಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತೆಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
33But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
34ಜನರು ಆತ ನಿಗೆ--ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ನಾವು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
34The multitude answered him, "We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. How do you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of Man?"
35ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲವೇ ಬೆಳಕು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರು ತ್ತದೆ. ಕತ್ತಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಸುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ತಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯನು.
35Jesus therefore said to them, "Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn't overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn't know where he is going.
36ನೀವು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ನಂಬಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಯೇಸು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡನು.
36While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light." Jesus said these things, and he departed and hid himself from them.
37ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅನೇಕ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
37But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn't believe in him,
38ಇದರಿಂದ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ವರ್ತ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಕರ್ತನ ಬಾಹುವು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ನುಡಿದದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದಾಯಿತು.
38that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "Lord, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
39ಅವರು ನಂಬಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
39For this cause they couldn't believe, for Isaiah said again,
40ಅವರು ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಗ್ರಹಿಸದೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದದೆ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರುಡು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಎಂಬದು.
40"He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, Lest they should see with their eyes, And perceive with their heart, And would turn, And I would heal them."
41ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
41Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.
42ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆದರೆ ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತಾವು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
42Nevertheless even of the rulers many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they didn't confess it, so that they wouldn't be put out of the synagogue,
43ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಹೊಗಳಿ ಕೆಗಿಂತ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದರು.
43for they loved men's praise more than God's praise.
44ಆಗ ಯೇಸು--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
44Jesus cried out and said, "Whoever believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me.
45ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನೇ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
45He who sees me sees him who sent me.
46ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ಯಾವನೂ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
46I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.
47ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಂಬದೆಹೋದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಬಂದೆನು.
47If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn't believe, I don't judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸದಿರುವವನಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವಂಥದು ಒಂದು ಇದೆ; ಅದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತೇ; ಅದು ಕಡೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವದು.
48He who rejects me, and doesn't receive my sayings, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke, the same will judge him in the last day.
49ನನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ತಂದೆಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡು ತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
49For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡು ತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
50I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak."
