બાબિલોને પોતાને મોટી કીર્તિ અને મોજશોખ જીવનમાં પ્રાપ્ત કર્યા, તેટલાં દુ:ખો અને વેદનાઓ પણ તેને આપો; તે તેની જાતને કહે છે, ‘હું મારા રાજ્યાસન પર બેઠેલી એક રાણી છું. હું વિધવા નથી, હું કદી ઉદાસ થનાર નથી.’
World English Bible
However much she glorified herself, and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, 'I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.'
