1હે દેવ ઊઠો, તમારા શત્રુઓ વિખરાઇ જાઓ; તેનાં સર્વ શત્રુઓ તેની પાસેથી ભાગી જાઓ.
1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. A song. Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him.
2તેઓને ધુમાડાની જેમ ઉડાવી નાંખો, જેમ મીણ અગ્નિથી ઓગળી જાય છે; તેમ દુષ્ટો દેવ સંમુખ નાશ પામો.
2As smoke is driven away, So drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3પણ ન્યાયીઓ આનંદ કરો, અને હર્ષ પામો દેવ સંમુખ; હા, સૌ અતિ આનંદ કરો.
3But let the righteous be glad. Let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.
4દેવ સમક્ષ ગીત-ગાન કરો, તેમનાં નામનાં સ્તુતિગાન કરો; જે રેતીનાં રણમાં તેનાં રથ પર સવારી કરે છે. રણમાં તેમના માટે સડકો બાંધો; જેમનું નામ છે યાહ, તેમની સામે ઉલ્લાસ કરો.
4Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Extol him who rides on the clouds: To Yah, his name! Rejoice before him!
5આ દેવ, પોતાના પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં અનાથનાં પિતા ને વિધવાઓનાં રક્ષક છે.
5A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.
6દેવ એકાકી લોકોને ઘર આપે છે. કેદીઓને બંધનમાથી મુકત કરે છે અને સંપન્ન કરે છે. પણ બંડખોરોને સૂકા અને વેરાન પ્રદેશમાં રહેવાની ફરજ પાડે છે.
6God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, But the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.
7હે દેવ, જ્યારે તમે લોકોની આગળ આગળ ચાલ્યાં, અને તમે વેરાન રણમાં કૂચ કરી.
7God, when you went forth before your people, When you marched through the wilderness... Selah.
8દેવ, ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ સિનાઇ પર્વત પાસે આવ્યાં અને ઘરા ધ્રુજી ઊઠી અને આકાશ ઓગળી ગયું.
8The earth trembled. The sky also poured down rain at the presence of the God of Sinai� At the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9હે દેવ, તમે ધોધમાર વરસાદ મોકલ્યો; અને સૂક્કી જમીનને તાજી કરી.
9You, God, sent a plentiful rain. You confirmed your inheritance, when it was weary.
10ત્યાં તમારી પ્રજાએ કાયમી વસવાટ કર્યો, હે દેવ, તમે તમારી સમૃદ્ધિથી દરિદ્રીઓની ભૂખ ભાંગી.
10Your congregation lived therein. You, God, prepared your goodness for the poor.
11જ્યારે યહોવાએ આદેશ આપ્યો, સ્ત્રીઓનું મોટું ટોળું બધી જગાએ હતું. લોકોને તે વિષે તું સારા સમાચાર વિષે કહે.
11The Lord announced the word. The ones who proclaim it are a great company.
12“ઉતાવળથી રાજાઓ અને તેના સૈન્યો ભાગી જાય છે અને ઘરે સ્રીઓ લડાઇમાં કરેલી લૂંટ વહેંચી લે છે.
12"Kings of armies flee! They flee!" She who waits at home divides the spoil,
13જેઓ ધેર રહ્યાં છે તેમને રૂપાથી મઢેલી અને સુવર્ણથી ચળકતી કબૂતરની પાંખો મળશે.”
13While you sleep among the campfires, The wings of a dove sheathed with silver, Her feathers with shining gold.
14જેમ સાલ્મોનના હિમાચ્છાદિત શિખરોનો બરફ પીગળી જાય છે, તેમ જુઓ દેવે તેઓના શત્રુઓને વિખેરી નાંખ્યા છે.
14When the Almighty scattered kings in her, It snowed on Zalmon.
15બાશાનનો પર્વત દેવનો ભવ્ય પર્વત છે, બાશાનનો ઘણાં શિખરોવાળો પર્વત ઘણો મજબૂત છે.
15The mountains of Bashan are majestic mountains. The mountains of Bashan are rugged.
16હે પર્વતો, શા માટે તમે સિયોન પર્વતની અદેખાઇ કરો છો? કે જેને યહોવા પોતાને રહેવા માટે ઇચ્છતા હતાં જ્યાં તે સદાકાળ રહેશે.
16Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, At the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, Yahweh will dwell there forever.
17યહોવા, પોતાના અસંખ્ય રથો સાથે સિનાઇના પર્વત પરથી આવે છે; અને તે પોતાના પવિત્ર મંદિરમાં આવે છે.
17The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, into the sanctuary.
18જ્યારે તે ઉંચાઇ પર જાય છે, તે બંદીવાનોની કૂચને ઘેરે છે, જે લોકો તેમની વિરુદ્ધ થયા હતા તેમની પાસેથી તથા માણસોપાસેથી ભેટો સ્વીકારવા યહોવા દેવ ત્યાં નિવાસ કરવાં ગયા.
18You have ascended on high. You have led away captives. You have received gifts among men, Yes, among the rebellious also, that Yah God might dwell there.
19ધન્ય છે પ્રભુને, કે જેઓ રોજ આપણો બોજો ઊંચકી લે છે, અને તેઓજ સૌનું તારણ કરે છે.
19Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah.
20તેઓજ આપણને મૃત્યુથી મુકત કરે છે, યહોવા જ આપણા તારણના દેવ છે.
20God is to us a God of deliverance. To Yahweh, the Lord, belongs escape from death.
21પણ દેવ પોતાનાં શત્રુઓનાં માથા ફોડી નાખશે, કારણ, તેઓ અપરાધના માગોર્ છોડી દેવાની ના પાડે છે.
21But God will strike through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as still continues in his guiltiness.
22મારા પ્રભુને કહ્યું, “હું તેમને બાશાનથી પાછા લાવીશ, પરંતુ શત્રુઓને ઊંડા સમુદ્રમાંથી પાછા લાવીશ.
22The Lord said, "I will bring you again from Bashan, I will bring you again from the depths of the sea;
23જેથી ભલે તમે શત્રુઓનાં રકતમાં ચાલો, અને તમારા કૂતરાઓની જીભને પણ તે ભલે ચાખવા મળે.”
23That you may crush them, dipping your foot in blood, That the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies."
24હે દેવ, તેઓ તમારી વિજયકૂચ જોશે! તેઓ મારા રાજાને, વિજય કૂચને દોરતા મારા પવિત્ર દેવને જોશે.
24They have seen your processions, God, Even the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
25આગલી હરોળમાં ગાયકો કૂચ કરતાં આવે છે. તેમના પછી સંગીતકારો, અને તેઓ ડફલી વગાડતી કન્યાઓથી ઘેરાયેલા છે.
25The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the ladies playing with tambourines,
26હે મંડળો, તમે દેવની સ્તુતિ કરો; ઇસ્રાએલના સંતાનો તમે યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરો. કારણ, એ ઇસ્રાએલનાં ઝરા સમાન છે.
26"Bless God in the congregations, Even the Lord in the assembly of Israel!"
27બિન્યામીનનું નાનું કુળ ત્યાં આગેવાની આપે છે, યહૂદાના સરદારો, ઝબુલોન-નફતાલીના સરદારો તેઓની સભા પાછળ છે.
27There is little Benjamin, their ruler, The princes of Judah, their council, The princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
28હે યહોવા, તમારુ સામથર્ય બતાવો અને અગાઉ તમે અમારે માટે કર્યુ હતું તેમ, તમારા મોટાં કાર્યો અમારી ભલાઇ માટે જાણ થાય.
28Your God has commanded your strength. Strengthen, God, that which you have done for us.
29યરૂશાલેમનાં તમારાં મંદિરમાં પૃથ્વીનાં રાજાઓ ઉપહારો લઇને આવે છે.
29Because of your temple at Jerusalem, Kings shall bring presents to you.
30બરુઓ વચ્ચે છુપાયેલા “પ્રાણીઓને” ઠપકો આપો, રાષ્ટોના વાછરડાઁ જેવા લોકોને આખલાઓનાં ટોળાઓને પણ ઠપકો આપો, જેથી તેઓ તમારે શરણે આવે અને તમારા માટે ચાંદીની ભેટો લાવે, યુદ્ધમાં આનંદ માણનારાઓને વિખેરી નાંખો.
30Rebuke the wild animal of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples. Being humbled, may it bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations that delight in war.
31મિસરવાસીઓ તમારા માટે તેમની સંપત્તિ લઇને આવશે. કૂશનાં લોકો દેવને તેઓની અર્પણ પ્રશંસા આપવાં ઉતાવળા થશે.
31Princes shall come out of Egypt. Ethiopia shall hurry to stretch out her hands to God.
32હે પૃથ્વીના સર્વ રાજ્યો તમે દેવ સમક્ષ ગાઓ, અને યહોવાનું સ્તવન કરો.
32Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth! Sing praises to the Lord! Selah.
33પુરાતન કાળનાં આકાશોમાં થઇને વાદળ પર સવારી કરનારા, એ અને જેમનાં પરાક્રમી અવાજથી આકાશમાં ગર્જના થાય છે તે દેવની સ્તુતિ કરો.
33To him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Behold, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.
34પરાક્રમ કેવળ દેવનું છે, તેમની સત્તા ઇસ્રાએલ પર છે; તેમનું સાર્મથ્ય તથા પરાક્રમ પણ આકાશોમાં છે.
34Ascribe strength to God! His excellency is over Israel, His strength is in the skies.
35હે દેવ, તમે તમારા પવિત્રસ્થાનોમાં અતિ મહિમાવાન અને ભયાવહ છો, ઇસ્રાએેલના દેવ જેઓ પોતાના લોકોને સાર્મથ્ય તથા પરાક્રમ આપે છે, તેમને ધન્ય હો!
35You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God!
