યહૂદિયાના લોકો, જે મૃત્યુ પામ્યા છે તેને માટે ચિંતા કરશો નહિ, તેમ તેનો શોક પણ ન કરશો; પણ જે ચાલ્યો ગયો છે તેને માટે હૈયાફાટ રૂદન કરજો, કારણ તે કદી પાછો આવવાનો નથી. તે કદી ફરી જન્મભૂમિના દર્શન કરવાનો નથી.

Don't you weep for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him who goes away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
