কোন শাসনই আপাততঃ আনন্দের বিষয় বোধ হয় না, কিন্তু দুঃখের বিষয় বোধ হয়; তথাপি তদ্দ্বারা যাহাদের অভ্যাস জন্মিয়াছে, তাহা পরে তাহাদিগকে ধার্ম্মিকতার শান্তিযুক্ত ফল প্রদান করে।

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
