হে প্রভু, ধর্ম্মশীলতা তোমার, কিন্তু আমরা মুখের বিবর্ণতার পাত্র, যেমন অদ্য দেখা যাইতেছে; যিহূদার লোক ও যিরূশালেম-নিবাসিগণ এবং সমস্ত ইস্রায়েল এই অবস্থায় রহিয়াছে,— যাহারা নিকটবর্ত্তী, ও যাহারা দূরস্থ, যাহারা সেই সকল দেশে রহিয়াছে, যেখানে তুমি তাহাদিগকে তাড়াইয়া দিয়াছ, তোমার বিরুদ্ধে কৃত সত্যলঙ্ঘন প্রযুক্তই তাড়াইয়া দিয়াছ।

Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but to us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, who are near, and who are far off, through all the countries where you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.
