আর দৃষ্টিপাত করিল, আর দেখ, রাজা যথারীতি মঞ্চের উপরে দাঁড়াইয়া আছেন, এবং সেনাপতিগণ ও তূরীবাদকগণ রাজার নিকটে আছে, এবং দেশের সমস্ত লোক আনন্দ করিতেছে ও তূরী বাজাইতেছে। তখন অথলিয়া আপনার বস্ত্র ছিঁড়িয়া ‘রাজদ্রোহ, রাজদ্রোহ’ বলিয়া চেঁচাইয়া উঠিল।

and she looked, and, behold, the king stood by the pillar, as the manner was, and the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and cried, Treason! treason!
