1நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனே, பிரகாசியும்.
1Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs, You God to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth.
2பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதியே, நீர் எழுந்து, பெருமைக்காரருக்குப் பதிலளியும்.
2Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
3கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் மகிழ்ந்து, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்?
3Yahweh, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph?
4எதுவரைக்கும் அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் வாயாடி, கடினமாய்ப் பேசி, பெருமைபாராட்டுவார்கள்?
4They pour out arrogant words. All the evil-doers boast.
5கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உமது ஜனத்தை நொறுக்கி, உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள்.
5They break your people in pieces, Yahweh, And afflict your heritage.
6விதவையையும் பரதேசியையும் கொன்று, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொலைசெய்து:
6They kill the widow and the alien, And murder the fatherless.
7கர்த்தர் பாரார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் கவனியார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.
7They say, "Yah will not see, Neither will Jacob's God consider."
8ஜனத்தில் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள்; மூடரே, எப்பொழுது புத்திமான்களாவீர்கள்?
8Consider, you senseless among the people; You fools, when will you be wise?
9காதை உண்டாக்கினவர் கேளாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கினவர் காணாரோ?
9He who implanted the ear, won't he hear? He who formed the eye, won't he see?
10ஜாதிகளை தண்டிக்கிறவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளாரோ? மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவைப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறியாரோ?
10He who disciplines the nations, won't he punish? He who teaches man knows.
11மனுஷனுடைய யோசனைகள் வீணென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.
11Yahweh knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile.
12கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் குழிவெட்டப்படும்வரைக்கும், நீர் தீங்கு நாட்களில் அமர்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணி,
12Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, And teach out of your law;
13சிட்சித்து, உம்முடைய வேதத்தைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.
13That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
14கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை நெகிழவிடாமலும், தம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தைக் கைவிடாமலும் இருப்பார்.
14For Yahweh won't reject his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15நியாயம் நீதியினிடமாகத் திரும்பும்; செம்மையான இருதயத்தார் யாவரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.
15For judgment will return to righteousness. All the upright in heart shall follow it.
16துன்மார்க்கருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் நிற்பவன் யார்?
16Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the evil-doers?
17கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிராவிட்டால், என் ஆத்துமா சீக்கிரமாய் மவுனத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணியிருக்கும்.
17Unless Yahweh had been my help, My soul would have soon lived in silence.
18என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது என்று நான் சொல்லும்போது, கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.
18When I said, "My foot is slipping!" Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up.
19என் உள்ளத்தில் விசாரங்கள் பெருகுகையில், உம்முடைய ஆறுதல்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறது.
19In the multitude of my thoughts within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
20தீமையைக் கட்டளையினால் பிறப்பிக்கிற கொடுங்கோலாசனம் உமக்கு இசைந்திருக்குமோ?
20Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, Which brings about mischief by statute?
21அவர்கள் நீதிமானுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைக் குற்றப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.
21They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood.
22கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், என் தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையுமாயிருக்கிறார்.
22But Yahweh has been my high tower, My God, the rock of my refuge.
23அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்.
23He has brought on them their own iniquity, And will cut them off in their own wickedness. Yahweh, our God, will cut them off.
