1தேவனே, என்னை இரட்சியும்; வெள்ளங்கள் என் ஆத்துமாமட்டும் பெருகிவருகிறது.
1For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Lilies." By David. Save me, God, For the waters have come up to my neck!
2ஆழமான உளையில் அமிழ்ந்திருக்கிறேன், நிற்க நிலையில்லை, நிலையாத ஜலத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கிறேன்; வெள்ளங்கள் என்மேல் புரண்டுபோகிறது.
2I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3நான் கூப்பிடுகிறதினால் இளைத்தேன்; என் தொண்டை வறண்டுபோயிற்று; என் தேவனுக்கு நான் காத்திருக்கையால், என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போயிற்று.
3I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail, looking for my God.
4நிமித்தமில்லாமல் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் என் தலைமயிரிலும் அதிகமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; வீணாக எனக்குச் சத்துருக்களாகி என்னைச் சங்கரிக்கவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறவர்கள் பலத்திருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாததை நான் கொடுக்கவேண்டியதாயிற்று.
4Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn't take away.
5தேவனே, நீர் என் புத்தியீனத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் குற்றங்கள் உமக்கு மறைந்திருக்கவில்லை.
5God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren't hidden from you.
6சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதிருப்பார்களாக; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் நாணமடையாதிருப்பார்களாக.
6Don't let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Hosts. Don't let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
7உமதுநிமித்தம் நிந்தையைச் சகித்தேன்; இலச்சை என் முகத்தை மூடிற்று.
7Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.
8என் சகோதரருக்கு வேற்று மனுஷனும், என் தாயின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அந்நியனுமானேன்.
8I have become a stranger to my brothers, An alien to my mother's children.
9உம்முடைய வீட்டைக்குறித்து உண்டான பக்திவைராக்கியம் என்னைப் பட்சித்தது; உம்மை நிந்திக்கிறவர்களுடைய நிந்தனைகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது.
9For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
10என் ஆத்துமா வாடும்படி உபவாசித்து அழுதேன்; அதுவும் எனக்கு நிந்தையாய் முடிந்தது.
10When I wept and I fasted, That was to my reproach.
11இரட்டை என் உடுப்பாக்கினேன்; அப்பொழுதும் அவர்களுக்குப் பழமொழியானேன்.
11When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.
12வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; மதுபானம் பண்ணுகிறவர்களின் பாடலானேன்.
12Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.
13ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, அநுக்கிரககாலத்திலே உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பஞ்செய்கிறேன்; தேவனே, உமது மிகுந்த கிருபையினாலும் உமது இரட்சிப்பின் சத்தியத்தினாலும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்.
13But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
14நான் அமிழ்ந்திப்போகாதபடிக்குச் சேற்றினின்று என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடும்; என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களினின்றும் நிலையாத ஜலத்தினின்றும் நான் நீங்கும்படி செய்யும்.
14Deliver me out of the mire, and don't let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15ஜலப்பிரவாகங்கள் என்மேல் புரளாமலும், ஆழம் என்னை விழுங்காமலும், பாதாளம் என்மேல் தன் வாயை அடைத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பதாக.
15Don't let the flood waters overwhelm me, Neither let the deep swallow me up. Don't let the pit shut its mouth on me.
16கர்த்தாவே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டருளும், உம்முடைய தயை நலமாயிருக்கிறது; உமது உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களின்படி என்னைக் கடாட்சித்தருளும்.
16Answer me, Yahweh, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
17உமது முகத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்கு மறையாதேயும்; நான் வியாகுலப்படுகிறேன், எனக்குத் தீவிரமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்.
17Don't hide your face from your servant, For I am in distress. Answer me speedily!
18நீர் என் ஆத்துமாவினிடத்தில் வந்து அதை விடுதலைபண்ணும்; என் சத்துருக்களினிமித்தம் என்னை மீட்டுவிடும்.
18Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
19தேவரீர் என் நிந்தையையும் என் வெட்கத்தையும் என் அவமானத்தையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் சத்துருக்கள் எல்லாரும் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
19You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.
20நிந்தை என் இருதயத்தைப் பிளந்தது; நான் மிகவும் வேதனைப்படுகிறேன்; எனக்காக பரிதபிக்கிறவனுண்டோ என்று காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனும் இல்லை; தேற்றுகிறவர்களுக்குக் காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனையும் காணேன்.
20Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; For comforters, but I found none.
21என் ஆகாரத்தில் கசப்புக் கலந்து கொடுத்தார்கள், என் தாகத்துக்குக் காடியைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தார்கள்.
21They also gave me gall for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
22அவர்களுடைய பந்தி அவர்களுக்குக் கண்ணியும், அவர்களுடைய செல்வம் அவர்களுக்கு வலையுமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.
22Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
23அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் காணாதபடி அந்தகாரப்படக்கடவது; அவர்கள் இடுப்புகளை எப்போதும் தள்ளாடப்பண்ணும்.
23Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can't see. Let their backs be continually bent.
24உம்முடைய உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றும்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினி அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து பிடிப்பதாக.
24Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
25அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலம் பாழாகக்கடவது; அவர்களுடைய கூடாரங்களில் குடியில்லாமற்போவதாக.
25Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
26தேவரீர் அடித்தவனை அவர்கள் துன்பப்படுத்தி, நீர் காயப்படுத்தினவர்களை நோகப் பேசுகிறார்களே.
26For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
27அக்கிரமத்தின்மேல் அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் சுமத்தும், அவர்கள் உமது நீதிக்கு வந்தெட்டாதிருப்பார்களாக.
27Charge them with crime upon crime. Don't let them come into your righteousness.
28ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் பேர் கிறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போவதாக; நீதிமான்கள் பேரோடே அவர்கள் பேர் எழுதப்படாதிருப்பதாக.
28Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous.
29நானோ சிறுமையும் துயரமுமுள்ளவன்; தேவனே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பு எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாவதாக.
29But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.
30தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பாட்டினால் துதித்து, அவரை ஸ்தோத்திரத்தினால் மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன்.
30I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31கொம்பும் விரிகுளம்புமுள்ள காளையெருதைப்பார்க்கிலும், இதுவே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்கும்.
31It will please Yahweh better than an ox, Or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
32சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் இதைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்; தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்களே, உங்கள் இருதயம் வாழும்.
32The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.
33கர்த்தர் எளியவர்களின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்கிறார், கட்டுண்ட தம்முடையவர்களை அவர் புறக்கணியார்.
33For Yahweh hears the needy, And doesn't despise his captive people.
34வானமும் பூமியும் சமுத்திரங்களும் அவைகளில் சஞ்சரிக்கிறயாவும் அவரைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது.
34Let heaven and earth praise him; The seas, and everything that moves therein!
35தேவன் சீயோனை இரட்சித்து, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டுவார்; அப்பொழுது அங்கே குடியிருந்து அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.
35For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.
36அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் சந்ததியார் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்; அவருடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் அதில் வாசமாயிருப்பார்கள்.
36The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.
