1பூமியின் குடிகளே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீரமாய்ப் பாடுங்கள்.
1For the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm. Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
2அவர் நாமத்தின் மகத்துவத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவருடைய துதியின் மகிமையைக் கொண்டாடுங்கள்.
2Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise!
3தேவனை நோக்கி: உமது கிரியைகளில் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது மகத்துவமான வல்லமையினிமித்தம் உம்முடைய சத்தருக்கள் உமக்கு இச்சகம்பேசி அடங்குவார்கள்.
3Tell God, "How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.
4பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் உம்மைப்பணிந்துகொண்டு உம்மைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நாமத்தைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். (சேலா)
4All the earth will worship you, And will sing to you; They will sing to your name." Selah.
5தேவனுடைய செய்கைகளை வந்து பாருங்கள்; அவர் மனுபுத்திரரிடத்தில் நடப்பிக்குங்கிரியையில் பயங்கரமானவர்.
5Come, and see God's deeds� Awesome work on behalf of the children of men.
6கடலை உலர்ந்த தரையாக மாற்றினார்; ஆற்றைக் கால்நடையாய்க் கடந்தார்கள்; அங்கே அவரில் களிகூர்ந்தோம்.
6He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him.
7அவர் தம்முடைய வல்லமையினால் என்றென்றைக்கும் அரசாளுகிறார்; அவருடைய கண்கள் ஜாதிகள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; துரோகிகள் தங்களை உயர்த்தாதிருப்பார்களாக. (சேலா)
7He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don't let the rebellious rise up against him. Selah.
8ஜனங்களே, நம்முடைய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரித்து, அவரைத் துதிக்குஞ்சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணுங்கள்.
8Praise our God, you peoples! Make the sound of his praise heard,
9அவர் நம்முடைய கால்களைத் தள்ளாடவொட்டாமல், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமாவை உயிரோடே வைக்கிறார்.
9Who preserves our life among the living, And doesn't allow our feet to be moved.
10தேவனே, எங்களைச் சோதித்தீர்; வெள்ளியைப் புடமிடுகிறதுபோல எங்களைப் புடமிட்டீர்.
10For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.
11எங்களை வலையில் அகப்படுத்தி, எங்கள் இடுப்புகளின்மேல் வருத்தமான பாரத்தை ஏற்றினீர்.
11You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.
12மனுஷரை எங்கள் தலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போகப்பண்ணினீர்; தீயையும் தண்ணீரையும் கடந்து வந்தோம்; செழிப்பான இடத்தில் எங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து விட்டீர்.
12You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, But you brought us to the place of abundance.
13சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளோடே உமது ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பேன்;
13I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you,
14என் இக்கட்டில் நான் என் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து, என் வாயினால் சொல்லிய என் பொருத்தனைகளை உமக்குச் செலுத்துவேன்.
14which my lips promised, And my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.
15ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் நிணப்புகையுடனே கொழுமையானவைகளை உமக்குத் தகனபலியாக இடுவேன்; காளைகளையும் செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களையும் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன். (சேலா)
15I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals, With the offering of rams, I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.
16தேவனுக்குப் பயந்தவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் வந்து கேளுங்கள்; அவர் என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குச் செய்ததைச் சொல்லுவேன்.
16Come, and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul.
17அவரை நோக்கி என் வாயினால் கூப்பிட்டேன், என் நாவினால் அவர் புகழப்பட்டார்.
17I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue.
18என் இருதயத்தில் அக்கிரமசிந்தை கொண்டிருந்தேனானால், ஆண்டவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடார்.
18If I cherished sin in my heart, The Lord wouldn't have listened.
19மெய்யாய் தேவன் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார், என் ஜெபத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்.
19But most assuredly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer.
20என் ஜெபத்தைத் தள்ளாமலும், தமது கிருபையை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்காமலும் இருந்த தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.
20Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, Nor his loving kindness from me.
