1கர்த்தரை நான் எக்காலத்திலும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என் வாயிலிருக்கும்.
1By David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
2கர்த்தருக்குள் என் ஆத்துமா மேன்மைபாராட்டும்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக்கேட்டு மகிழுவார்கள்.
2My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
3என்னோடே கூடக் கர்த்தரை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; நாம் ஒருமித்து அவர் நாமத்தை உயர்த்துவோமாக.
3Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.
4நான் கர்த்தரைத் தேடினேன், அவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என்னுடைய எல்லாப் பயத்துக்கும் என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிட்டார்.
4I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5அவர்கள் அவரை நோக்கிப்பார்த்துப் பிரகாசமடைந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் முகங்கள் வெட்கப்படவில்லை.
5They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
6இந்த ஏழை கூப்பிட்டான், கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவனை அவன் இடுக்கண்களுக்கெல்லாம் நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சித்தார்.
6This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களைச் சூழப் பாளயமிறங்கி அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார்.
7The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, And delivers them.
8கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் என்பதை ருசித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.
8Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, அவருக்குப் பயந்திருங்கள்; அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்குக் குறைவில்லை.
9Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, For there is no lack with those who fear him.
10சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாழ்ச்சியடைந்து பட்டினியாயிருக்கும்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஒரு நன்மையுங்குறைவுபடாது.
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.
11பிள்ளைகளே, வந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலை உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பேன்.
11Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.
12நன்மையைக் காணும்படி, ஜீவனை விரும்பி, நீடித்த நாட்களை அபேட்சிக்கிற மனுஷன் யார்?
12Who is someone who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?
13உன் நாவைப் பொல்லாப்புக்கும், உன் உதடுகளைக் கபட்டுவசனிப்புக்கும் விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொள்.
13Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking lies.
14தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய்; சமாதானத்தைத் தேடி, அதைத் தொடர்ந்துகொள்.
14Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
15கர்த்தருடைய கண்கள் நீதிமான்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அவருடைய செவிகள் அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுதலுக்குத் திறந்திருக்கிறது.
15Yahweh's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
16தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய பேரைப் பூமியில் இராமல் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ண, கர்த்தருடைய முகம் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.
16Yahweh's face is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17நீதிமான்கள் கூப்பிடும்போது கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுகிறார்.
17The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார்.
18Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves those who have a crushed spirit.
19நீதிமானுக்கு வரும் துன்பங்கள் அநேகமாயிருக்கும், கர்த்தர் அவைகளெல்லாவற்றிலும் நின்று அவனை விடுவிப்பார்.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
20அவனுடைய எலும்புகளையெல்லாம் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவைகளில் ஒன்றும் முறிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
20He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
21தீமை துன்மார்க்கனைக் கொல்லும்; நீதிமானைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாவார்கள்.
21Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22கர்த்தர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது.
22Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. By David.
