1கர்த்தாவே, உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.
1By David. To you, Yahweh, do I lift up my soul.
2என் தேவனே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; என் சத்துருக்கள் என்னை மேற்கொண்டு மகிழவிடாதேயும்.
2My God, I have trusted in you, Don't let me be shamed. Don't let my enemies triumph over me.
3உம்மை நோக்கிக் காத்திருக்கிற ஒருவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடி செய்யும்; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களே வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போவார்களாக.
3Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வழிகளை எனக்குத் தெரிவியும்; உம்முடைய பாதைகளை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும்.
4Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths.
5உம்முடைய சத்தியத்திலே என்னை நடத்தி, என்னைப் போதித்தருளும்; நீரே என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவன், உம்மை நோக்கி நாள்முழுதும் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
5Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long.
6கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்களையும் உம்முடைய காருணியங்களையும் நினைத்தருளும், அவை அநாதி காலமுதல் இருக்கின்றனவே.
6Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, For they are from old times.
7என் இளவயதின் பாவங்களையும் என் மீறுதல்களையும் நினையாதிரும்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய தயவினிமித்தம் என்னை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நினைத்தருளும்.
7Don't remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, For your goodness' sake, Yahweh.
8கர்த்தர் நல்லவரும் உத்தமருமாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் பாவிகளுக்கு வழியைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்.
8Good and upright is Yahweh, Therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
9சிறுமைபட்டவர்களை நியாயத்திலே நடத்தி, சிறுமைபட்டவர்களுக்குத் தமது வழியைப் போதிக்கிறார்.
9He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.
10கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவருடைய சாட்சிகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு, அவருடைய பாதைகளெல்லாம் கிருபையும் சத்தியமுமானவை.
10All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth To such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11கர்த்தாவே, என் அக்கிரமம் பெரிது; உம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் அதை மன்னித்தருளும்.
11For your name's sake, Yahweh, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார்.
12What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13அவன் ஆத்துமா நன்மையில் தங்கும்; அவன் சந்ததி பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்.
13His soul shall dwell at ease. His seed shall inherit the land.
14கர்த்தருடைய இரகசியம் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவர்களுக்குத் தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையைத் தெரியப்படுத்துவார்.
14The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
15என் கண்கள் எப்போதும் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன; அவரே என் கால்களை வலைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுவார்.
15My eyes are ever on Yahweh, For he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16என்மேல் நோக்கமாகி, எனக்கு இரங்கும்; நான் தனித்தவனும் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுமாய் இருக்கிறேன்.
16Turn to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted.
17என் இருதயத்தின் வியாகுலங்கள் பெருகியிருக்கின்றன; என் இடுக்கண்களிலிருந்து என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்.
17The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.
18என் சிறுமையையும் என் துன்பத்தையும் பார்த்து, என்பாவங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்தருளும்.
18Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.
19என் சத்துருக்களைப் பாரும்; அவர்கள் பெருகியிருந்து, உக்கிர வெறுப்பாய் என்னை வெறுக்கிறார்கள்.
19Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
20என் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பாற்றி என்னை விடுவியும்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; உம்மிடம் அடைக்கலம் புகுந்துள்ளேன்.
20Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
21உத்தமமும், நேர்மையும் என்னைக் காக்கட்டும்; நான் உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
21Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for you.
22தேவனே, இஸ்ரவேலை அவனுடைய எல்லா இக்கட்டுகளுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுவிடும்.
22Redeem Israel, God, Out all of his troubles.
