1அல்லேலூயா, என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரைத் துதி.
1Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul.
2நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமட்டும் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பேன்; நான் உள்ளளவும் என் தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்.
2While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.
3பிரபுக்களையும், இரட்சிக்கத்திராணியில்லாத மனுபுத்திரனையும் நம்பாதேயுங்கள்.
3Don't put your trust in princes, Each a son of man in whom there is no help.
4அவனுடைய ஆவி பிரியும், அவன் தன் மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்புவான்; அந்நாளிலே அவன் யோசனைகள் அழிந்துபோகும்.
4His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.
5யாக்கோபின் தேவனைத் தன் துணையாகக் கொண்டிருந்து, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்.
5Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:
6அவர் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் அவைகளிலுள்ள யாவையும் உண்டாக்கினவர்; அவர் என்றென்றைக்கும் உண்மையைக் காக்கிறவர்.
6Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever;
7அவர் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்கிறார்; பசியாயிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஆகாரங்கொடுக்கிறார்; கட்டுண்டவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்.
7Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.
8குருடரின் கண்களைக் கர்த்தர் திறக்கிறார்; மடங்கடிக்கப்பட்டவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் தூக்கிவிடுகிறார். நீதிமான்களைக் கர்த்தர் சிநேகிக்கிறார்.
8Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.
9பரதேசிகளைக் கர்த்தர் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவர் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையையும் விதவையையும் ஆதரிக்கிறார்; துன்மார்க்கரின் வழியையோ கவிழ்த்துப் போடுகிறார்.
9Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, But the way of the wicked he turns upside down.
10கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களிலும் அரசாளுகிறார்; சீயோனே, உன் தேவன் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுகிறார். அல்லேலூயா.
10Yahweh will reign forever; Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!
