தமிழ் பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம்
தனக்குச் சிறுமையும் தவிப்பும் உண்டாகிய நாட்களிலே எருசலேம் பூர்வநாட்கள் முதற்கொண்டு தனக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த இன்பமானவைகளையெல்லாம் நினைக்கிறாள்; அவளுக்கு உதவிசெய்வார் இல்லாமல் அவளுடைய ஜனங்கள் சத்துருவின் கையிலே விழுகையில், பகைஞர் அவளைப் பார்த்து, அவளுடைய ஓய்வு நாட்களைக் குறித்துப் பரியாசம்பண்ணினார்கள்.
World English Bible
Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that were from the days of old: When her people fell into the hand of the adversary, and none did help her, The adversaries saw her, they did mock at her desolations.
