இது யோதாமுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, அவன் போய், கெரிசீம் மலையின் உச்சியில் ஏறி நின்று, உரத்த சத்தமிட்டுக்கூப்பிட்டு, அவர்களை நோக்கி: சீகேமின் பெரிய மனுஷரே, தேவன் உங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கும்படி நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்.

When they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said to them, Listen to me, you men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.
