கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் மிஸ்பாவுக்கு வராதவன் நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவன் என்று அவர்கள் பெரிய ஆணையிட்டிருந்தபடியால், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர்: கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சபைகூடினபோது, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய எல்லாக் கோத்திரங்களிலுமிருந்து வராதே போனவர்கள் யார் என்று விசாரித்தார்கள்.

The children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel who didn't come up in the assembly to Yahweh? For they had made a great oath concerning him who didn't come up to Yahweh to Mizpah, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
