பின்பு யோசுவா ஆசாரியர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே நடந்துபோங்கள் என்றான்; அப்படியே உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே போனார்கள்.

Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. They took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
