தமிழ் பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம்
தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், பார்வைக்கு அழகும் புசிப்புக்கு நலமுமான சகலவித விருட்சங்களையும், தோட்டத்தின் நடுவிலே ஜீவவிருட்சத்தையும், நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தையும் பூமியிலிருந்து முளைக்கப்பண்ணினார்.

Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
