இந்த நடபடிகளுக்குப்பின்பு, ராஜாவாகிய அகாஸ்வேரு அம்மெதாத்தாவின் குமாரனாகிய ஆமான் என்னும் ஆகாகியனை மேன்மைப்படுத்தி, தன்னிடத்திலிருக்கிற சகல பிரபுக்களுக்கும் மேலாக அவனுடைய ஆசனத்தை உயர்த்திவைத்தான்.

After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.
