புலம்புகிற இந்தச் சத்தத்தை ஏலி கேட்டபோது: இந்த அமளியின் இரைச்சல் என்ன என்று கேட்டான்; அப்பொழுது அந்த மனுஷன் தீவிரித்து வந்து, ஏலிக்கு அறிவித்தான்.

When Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, What means the noise of this tumult? The man hurried, and came and told Eli.
