அதற்கு ஆசாரியன்: நீர் ஏலே பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே கொன்ற பெலிஸ்தனாகிய கோலியாத்தின் பட்டயம், இதோ, ஏபோத்துக்குப் பின்னாக ஒரு புடவையிலே சுருட்டி வைத்திருக்கிறது; அதை நீர் எடுக்க மனதானால் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோம், அதுவே அல்லாமல் வேறொன்றும் இங்கே இல்லை என்றான்; அப்பொழுது தாவீது: அதற்கு நிகரில்லை; அதை எனக்குத் தாரும் என்றான்.
World English Bible
The priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if you will take that, take it; for there is no other except that here. David said, There is none like that; give it me.
