கர்த்தர் அகியாவினிடத்தில்: இதோ, யெரொபெயாமின் மனைவி வியாதியாருக்கிற தன் குமாரனுக்காக உன்னை ஒரு விசேஷம் கேட்க வருகிறாள்; நீ அவளுக்கு இன்ன இன்ன பிரகாரமாகச் சொல்லவேண்டும்; அவள் உட்பிரவேசிக்கிறபோது, தன்னை அந்நிய ஸ்திரீயாகக் காண்பிப்பாள் என்றார்.

Yahweh said to Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam comes to inquire of you concerning her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shall you tell her; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will feign herself to be another woman.
