1ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସତରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ମଙ୍ଗଳକାରୀ। ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦଯ ପବିତ୍ର ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମଙ୍ଗଳମଯ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
1BOOK III A Psalm by Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, To those who are pure in heart.
2କିନ୍ତୁ ମାେ ଅନୁସାରେ, ମାରେ ପାଦ ପ୍ରାଯ ଖସିଗଲା। ମାରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ପ୍ରାଯ ହରାଇଲି।
2But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped.
3ମୁଁ ଗର୍ବୀ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଇର୍ଷାପରାଯଣ ହାଇଗଲିେ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ କୃତକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହେଉଥିବାର ଦେଖିଲି।
3For I was envious of the arrogant, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହାଇେ ବଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ କୌଣସି ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ୁନାହିଁ।
4For there are no struggles in their death, But their strength is firm.
5ସହେି ଗର୍ବୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପରି କୌଣସି କଷ୍ଟରେ ପଡ଼ନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଦୁଃଖ ପାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
5They are free from burdens of men, Neither are they plagued like other men.
6ସମାନେେ ଗର୍ବକୁ ରାଜାର ହାରପରି ପରିଧାନ କରନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଆକର୍ଷଣୀଯ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧି ବାହାରକୁ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଦଖାୟୋନ୍ତି।
6Therefore pride is like a chain around their neck. Violence covers them like a garment.
7ସମାନେେ ୟାହା ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି ତାହା କରନ୍ତି। ୟଦି ସମାନେେ କିଛି ଦେଖନ୍ତି ଓ ପସନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ୟେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ହାସଲ କରିଥାନ୍ତି।
7Their eyes bulge with fat. Their minds pass the limits of conceit.
8ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାସ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକ କହନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଅହଂକାରୀ ଓ ଗର୍ବୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଧମକ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ୟେ, ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କର ଉପକାରୀତାକୁ ଉତ୍ପୀଡ଼ନ କରିବେ।
8They scoff and speak with malice. In arrogance, they threaten oppression.
9ସହେି ଗର୍ବୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଜକୁ ଦବେତା ବୋଲି ଭାବନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଭାବନ୍ତି ସମାନେେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଏହି ଭୂଖଣ୍ଡର ଅଧିପତି।
9They have set their mouth in the heavens. Their tongue walks through the earth.
10ଏପରିକି ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଆକୃଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ୟାହା କୁହନ୍ତି ଏମାନେ ତାହା ପାଳନ କରନ୍ତି।
10Therefore their people return to them, And they drink up waters of abundance.
11ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ କହନ୍ତି, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜାଣି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭେ ୟାହା କରୁଛୁ। ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହା ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ!
11They say, "How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?"
12ତାହା ହେଉଛି, ୟାହାକି ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଖରେ ଚିନ୍ତା ନାହିଁ, ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଧନୀରୁ ଅଧିକ ଧନୀ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି।
12Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches.
13କାହିଁକି ମୁଁ ମାରେ ହୃଦଯକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରିଛି ? କାହିଁକି ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷତାରେ ମାରେ ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ କରିଅଛି ?
13Surely in vain I have cleansed my heart, And washed my hands in innocence,
14ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ଦିନୟାକ ଦୁଃଖ, କଷ୍ଟ ପାଉଅଛି। ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେଉଅଛ।
14For all day long have I been plagued, And punished every morning.
15ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏ ବିଷଯରେ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହିଁଥିଲି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଜାଣିଥିଲି ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତକତା ହାଇେଥାନ୍ତା।
15If I had said, "I will speak thus;" Behold, I would have betrayed the generation of your children.
16ମୁଁ ଏହିକଥା ବୁଝିବାକୁ ବହୁତ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା ବୁଝିବା ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଅତି କଷ୍ଟକର ଥିଲା।
16When I tried to understand this, It was too painful for me;
17ଶଷେରେ, ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଗଲି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି କ'ଣ ଘଟିବ ବୁଝି ପାରିଲି।
17Until I entered God's sanctuary, And considered their latter end.
18ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତରେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ବିପଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ରଖିଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ ମୁଖରୁ ପଲେି ଦିଅ।
18Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction.
19ହଠାତ୍ ସମାନେେ ଧ୍ବଂସରେ ପଡ଼ିୟାନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଘଟଣାରେ ଲୋପ ପାଇଲେ।
19How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors.
20ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ରାତ୍ରିର ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ପରି, ୟାହାକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉଠିଲା ମାତ୍ରେ ଭୁଲିଯାଉ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବପ୍ନରେ ଦେଖିଥିବା ରାକ୍ଷସ ପରି ଅଦୃଶ୍ଯ କରିଦିଅ।
20As a dream when one wakes up, So, Lord, when you awake, you will despise their fantasies.
21ମୁଁ ନିର୍ବୋଧ ଥିଲି, ମୁଁ ଧନୀ ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯରେ ଚିନ୍ତା କରି ବ୍ଯାକୁଳିତ ହଲିେ।
21For my soul was grieved. I was embittered in my heart.
22ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ରାଗି ନିର୍ ବୋଧ ପଶୁ ପରି ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିଛି।
22I was so senseless and ignorant. I was a brute beast before you.
23ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଦା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖରେ ଅଛି। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଧରି ସାହାରା ଦଇେଅଛ।
23Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand.
24ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଆଗଇେ ନଇେଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଉପଦେଶ ଦଇେଅଛ ଓ ଶଷେରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଗୌରବରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ।
24You will guide me with your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.
25ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସ୍ବର୍ଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିନା ମାରେ ଆଉ କହେି ନାହିଁ କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପାଖରେ ଅଛ। ଏହି ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ମୁଁ କିଛି ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁ ନାହିଁ।
25Who do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth who I desire besides you.
26ମାରେ ମନ ଏବଂ ଶରୀର ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହୁଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ମାେ ହୃଦଯକୁ ଓ ମାେତେ ସ୍ଥାଯୀତ୍ବ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
26My flesh and my heart fails, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ୟେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଛାଡ଼ିବ ସେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି।
27For, behold, those who are far from you shall perish. You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.
28ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହବୋରେ ମାରେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ହଁ ମାରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷାର ଦୁର୍ଗ। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭେ କରିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମକୁ ମୁଁ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିବି।
28But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, That I may tell of all your works.
