ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ବିପଦରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କୁ ମାେତେ ପରାଜିତ କରିବାକୁ ସୁଯୋଗ ଦଲେ ନାହିଁ କି ସମାନେେ ମାେତେ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଦଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତଣେୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଉଛି।

A Psalm. A Song for the Dedication of the Temple. By David. I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, And have not made my foes to rejoice over me.

ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି ଓ ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିଅଛ।

Yahweh my God, I cried to you, And you have healed me.

ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଗୁମ୍ଫାରୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣ ବଞ୍ଚାଇ ରଖିଛ। ମାେତେ ସହେି ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କବରରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଦଇେ ନାହଁ।

Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4
ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗାମୀମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଗାନ କର। ତାଙ୍କର ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ନାମର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କର।

Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.
5
ପରମେଶ୍ବର କୋର୍ଧିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ତଣେୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହିଁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି କରୁଣା ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରି ମାେତେ ଜୀବନଦାନ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସାରା ରାତି ମୁଁ କାନ୍ଦୁଥିଲି। ତା'ପରଦିନ ସକାଳୁ ଦେଖିଲି, ମୁଁ ଖୁସିରେ ଗୀତ ବୋଲୁଛି।

For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, But joy comes in the morning.

ମୁଁ ସେତବେେଳେ ନିରାପଦରେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଥିଲି, ମୁଁ ଭାବୁଥିଲି ମାରେ କିଛି କ୍ଷତି ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

As for me, I said in my prosperity, "I shall never be moved."

ହଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଯେ ତବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କଲେ, ମୁଁ ସେତବେେଳେ ଭାବିଲି, କହେି ମାେତେ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ମାେ ପାଖରୁ ଦୂରଇେ ଗଲ, ମୁଁ ସେତବେେଳେ ବ୍ଯାକୁଳ ହାଇେ ଭୟରେ ଥରି ଉଠିଲି।

You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain to stand strong. But when you hid your face, I was troubled.
8
ତଣେୁ ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ସଦଯ ହବୋକୁ ନିବଦନେ କଲି।

I cried to you, Yahweh. To Yahweh I made supplication:

ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ କ'ଣ ଭଲ ହବେ ୟଦି ମୁଁ ମରିୟାଏ। ମୁଁ କବର ଭିତରକୁ ଗଲେ କ'ଣ ଲାଭ। ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ମାଟିର କବରରେ ଶୋଇ ରହନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ।

"What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ ଓ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି କରୁଣା ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କର। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ସହାୟ ହୁଅ।

Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper."
11
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନକୁ ନୃତ୍ଯରେ ପରିଣତ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଦୁଃଖର ପୋଷାକ ସବୁକୁ କାଢ଼ି ନଲେ ଓ ମାେତେ ସୁଖରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଲ।

You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
12
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ଚିରଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୁଣଗାନ କରିବି, କବେେ ନୀରବରେ ବସି ରହିବି ନାହିଁ। ତଣେୁ ସବୁବେଳେ କହେି ନା କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୁଣଗାନ କରୁଥିବ।

To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
