1
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଥରେ ଶୁଣ ଓ ମାେତେ ନ୍ଯାଯ ପ୍ରଦାନ କର। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ବରରେ ଡ଼ାକୁ ଅଛି। ୟେ ହତେୁ ମୁଁ ନିଷ୍କପଟ, ତଣେୁ ୟାହା ମୁଁ କହୁଛି, ଦୟାକରି ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର।

A Prayer by David. Hear, Yahweh, my righteous plea; Give ear to my prayer, that doesn't go out of deceitful lips.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ମାେ ବିଷଯରେ ଉଚିତ୍ ନ୍ଯାଯ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ସତ୍ଯକୁ ଦେଖୁଅଛ।

Let my sentence come forth from your presence; Let your eyes look on equity.
3
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ହୃଦଯର ଅନ୍ତଃସ୍ଥଳକୁ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଜାଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସାରାରାତ୍ରି ମାେ ସହିତ ଥିଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିଛ ଏବଂ ମାଠାେରେ କିଛି ଭୁଲ ଦେଖିନାହଁ। ମୁଁ କିଛି ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନା କରେ ନାହିଁ।

You have proved my heart; you have visited me in the night; You have tried me, and found nothing; I have resolved that my mouth shall not disobey.
4
ମୁଁ ୟଥାସାଧ୍ଯ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଛି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଦେଶ ମାନିବାକୁ।

As for the works of men, by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
5
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମାର୍ଗ ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଅଛି। ମାରେ ପାଦ ସହେି ପଥରୁ କବେେ ବିଚ୍ଯୁତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

My steps have held fast to your paths, My feet have not slipped.

ମୁଁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡାକେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅ। ତଣେୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମାରେ କଥା ଶୁଣ।

I have called on you, for you will answer me, God: Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech.
7
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ କରୁଣା ଦଖାେଅ ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରତିପକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହାନ୍ ଶକ୍ତି ବ୍ଯବହାର କର। ତଣେୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାଟିକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର। ଏହା ଜଣକର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ୟିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଆଶ୍ରଯ ନଇେଛି ଏବଂ ୟିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅନୁସରଣକାରୀ ଅଟେ।

Show your marvelous loving kindness, You who save those who take refuge by your right hand from their enemies.

ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଚକ୍ଷୁର ପିତୁଳା ଭଳି ରକ୍ଷା କର, ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାହୁଛାଯା ତଳେ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖ।

Keep me as the apple of your eye; Hide me under the shadow of your wings,
9
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାେତେ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚାଇ ରଖ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ମାେତେ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛନ୍ତି। ମାରେ ଚାରିକଡ଼ରେ ଥିବା ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କବଳରୁ ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମାେତେ ଆଘାତ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛନ୍ତି।

From the wicked who oppress me, My deadly enemies, who surround me.

ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅହଂକାର ବଶତଃ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ କବଳେ ନିଜ ବିଷଯ ଚିନ୍ତା କରନ୍ତି।

They close up their callous hearts. With their mouth they speak proudly.

ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେତେ ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମାରେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଘରେି ଗଲଣେି ଓ ସମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ।

They have now surrounded us in our steps. They set their eyes to cast us down to the earth.

ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହ ସଦୃଶ ୟିଏକି ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକାର କରି ଖାଇବାକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଥାଏ। ସମାନେେ ସିଂହ ଭଳି ଲୁଚି ରହି ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ସର୍ବଦା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥାଆନ୍ତି।

He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, As it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
13
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉଠ ଏବଂ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ୟାଇ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆତ୍ମା ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରି ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କବଳରୁ ମାେତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।

Arise, Yahweh, Confront him, cast him down. Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword;
14
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରି ଏ ସଂସାରରୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିପାତ କର। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ବହୁତ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଆସନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଅନକଙ୍କେର ଏହି ଇହଲୋକରେ ଅଧିକ କିଛି ଆଶା ନ ଥାଏ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କର। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କର ଆବଶ୍ଯକତାକୁ ପୂରଣ କର। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏତେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କର ୟେ, ୟାହା ସବୁଦିନ ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆବଶ୍ଯକତା ପୂରଣ କରିବ।
14
From men by your hand, Yahweh, From men of the world, whose portion is in this life. You fill the belly of your cherished ones. Your sons have plenty, And they store up wealth for their children.
15
ମୁଁ ନ୍ଯାଯ ପାଇଁ ଏସବୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଛି। ତଣେୁ ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୁଖ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିବି ଓ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କରି ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୃପ୍ତ ହବେି।
15
As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form. For the Chief Musician. By David the servant of Yahweh, who spoke to Yahweh the words of this song in the day that Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He said,
