1ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରକ୍ଷା କର କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କ
1A Poem by David. Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.
2ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଅଛି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ। ମାରେ ୟାହା କିଛି ମଙ୍ଗଳମଯ ସେ ସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ କୃପାରୁ।
2My soul, you have said to Yahweh, "You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing."
3ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟାହାକିଛି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯଜନକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି, ତାହା ତାଙ୍କର ଏ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଥିବା ଅନୁଗତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଦଖାଇେ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ୟେ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି।
3As for the saints who are in the earth, They are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.
4କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜା କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଅଧିକ ଦୁଃଖ ପାଆନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଏକମତ ହାଇପୋରିବି ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସହେି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଆଗରେ ରକ୍ତ ଅର୍ପଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନାମ ମୁଁ କବେେ ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।
4Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god. Their drink-offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take their names on my lips.
5ମୁଁ କବଳେ ମାରେ ଭକ୍ତି ଓ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିବି। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ସହାୟ ହୁଅ ଏବଂ ମାେତେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାପ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଦାନ କର।
5Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure.
6ମାରେ ପ୍ରାପ୍ଯ ଅତି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯଜନକ, ମାରେ ଅଧିକାର ମଧ୍ଯ ଅତି ସୁନ୍ଦର।
6The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.
7ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରେ କାରଣ ସେ ମାେତେ ଉଚିତ୍ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି। ଏପରିକି ରାତ୍ରିରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଉପଦେଶକୁ ମାରେ ମନରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାନ୍ତି।
7I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
8ମୁଁ ସବୁବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ମାରେ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରଖିଅଛି। ମୁଁ କବେେ ହେଲେ ତାଙ୍କର ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ ମାର୍ଗରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହବେି ନାହିଁ।
8I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9ତଣେୁ ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ଓ ଆତ୍ମା ଅତି ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହବେ। ଏପରିକି ମାରେ ଶରୀର ନିରାପଦରେ ରହିବ।
9Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.
10କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବି ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପବିତ୍ର ଜନକୁ ପୃଥିବୀରେ କ୍ଷଯ ହବୋକୁ ଦବେ ନାହିଁ।
10For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, Neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.
11ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ବଞ୍ଚିବା ପାଇଁ ଜୀବନପଥ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବେ। ୟେ ହତେୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଅଛି। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ସୁଖ ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଦବେ। ୟେ ହତେୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାଶର୍‌ବରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ, ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଚିରଦିନ ନିତ୍ଯ ସୁଖ ଭୋଗ ଆଣିଦବେ।
11You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
