ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମାସ ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ମିଶର ଛାଡିଲାପରେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୀନଯ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁ ମଧିଅରେ ମଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ,

Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କର। ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ତଳୀର ଅନୁସାରେ ଓ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଅନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକର ନାମ ତାଲିକା କର।

"Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one;

ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତହିଁରୁ ଅଧିକ ସହେି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କର। ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ, ୟିଏ କି ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟାଇ ପାରିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ହାରୋଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଭାଗ ଅନୁସାରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତାଲିକାଭୁକ୍ତ କର।

from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their divisions.

ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗରୁ ଜଣେ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହାୟକ ହବେ।

With you there shall be a man of every tribe; everyone head of his fathers' house.
5
ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହକାରୀ ହବେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନାମ ଏହି;

These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

ଶିମିଯୋନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ସୂରୀଶବ୍ଦଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୁମୀଯଲେ।

Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7
ଯିହୁଦା ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ଅମ୍ମୀନାଦବର ପୁତ୍ର ନ ହଶାେନ।

Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8
ଇଷାଖର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ସୂଯାରର ପୁତ୍ର ନଥନଲେ।

Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

ସବୁଲୂନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ହେଲାନର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଯାବ।

Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ଗୋ୍ଟିର, ଅମ୍ମୀହୂଦର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଶାମା।

Of the children of Joseph: Of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud. Of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

ବିଦ୍ଯାମୀନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ଗିବିୟୋନର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବୀଦାନଣ।

Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.

ଦାନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଅମ୍ମୀଶବ୍ଦଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଅହୀଯଷେର।

Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

ଆଶର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ଆକ୍ରଣର ପୁତ୍ର ପଗୀଯଲେ।

Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

ଗାଦ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ଦ୍ଯୁଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଯାସଫ।

Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

ନପ୍ତାଲୀ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର, ଐନରର ପୁତ୍ର ଅହୀର।

Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan."

ଏମାନେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ସହେି ଲୋକ ସମାଜ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ବଛା ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତାଙ୍କର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ନେତା ଆଉ ଇଶ୍ରାଯଲର ବିଭାଗର ନେତା ଥିଲେ।

These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.
17
ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ ବଛା ୟାଇଥିଲେ, ମାଶାେ ଓ ହାରୋଣ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଲେ।

Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.

ମାଶାେ ଓ ହାରୋଣ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମାସର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃବଂଶ ଓ ପିତୃପରିବାର ଅନୁସାରେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ କିମ୍ବା ତଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଯସ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଲେଖିଲେ।

They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.

ଏହିରୂପେ, ମାଶାେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସା ରେ ସୀନଯର ମରୂଭୂମିରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ।

As Yahweh commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

ରୂବନ୍େ ବଂଶଧର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଥମ ଜାତ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ କିମ୍ବା ତଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଧ ବଯସ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଓ ସଂଖ୍ଯାଅନୁସାରେ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହୀନି ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତକରାଗଲା।

The children of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;
21
ରୁବନେ ଗୋ୍ଟିର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 46,500
21
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
22
ଶିମିୟୋନ ବଂଶର ସମାମେନଙ୍କର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଓ ତହିଁରୁ ଅଧିକ ପୁରୁଷ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ଦାଖଲ ହବୋକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ।

Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, those who were numbered of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

ଶିମିୟୋନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 59,300
23
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
24
ଗାଦର ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ୟୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

ଗାଦ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 45,650

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
26
ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତକରାଗଲା।

ଯିହୁଦା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 74,600

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were sixty-four thousand six hundred.

ଇଷାଖର ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋଡିଏ

Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

ଇଷାଖର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 54,400

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
30
ସବୂଲୂନ ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ୟୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

ସବୂଲୂନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 57,400
31
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
32
ଇଫ୍ରଯିମଙ୍କର ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

ଇଫ୍ରିଯିମ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 40,500

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.
34
ମନଃଶି ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ୟୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

ମନଃଶି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକନଙ୍କର ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 32,200
35
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
36
ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ୟୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

ବିଦ୍ଯାମୀନ ଗୋ୍ଟୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 35,400
37
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
38
ଦାନ ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

ଦାନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 62,700

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
40
ଆଶରେ ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

ଆଶରେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକ ମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 41,500
41
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
42
ନପ୍ତାଲି ବଂଶଧର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ, ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବଂ ସଂଖ୍ଯା, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତାଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିଭାଗ ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

ନପ୍ତାଲି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପୁରୁଷ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମାଟେ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 53,400
43
those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
44
ମାଶାେ, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ବାର ଜଣ ଅଧିପତି ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପିତୃଗୃହ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଣେ ଜଣେ ଅଧିପତି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ।

These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: they were each one for his fathers' house.
45
ଏହିରୂପେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ କୋଡିଏ ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ତହିଁରୁ ଅଧିକ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପିତୃଗୃହ ଅନୁସାରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ୟୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ୟିବା ଯୋଗ୍ଯ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତାଲିକା ଭୁକ୍ତ କରାଗଲା।

So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel;
46
ଗଣନା ଅନୁସାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ମନୁଷ୍ଯଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 6,03,550 ହୋଲା।
46
even all those who were numbered were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
47
ମାତ୍ର ଲବେୀୟ-ମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଣାୟାଇ ନ ଥିଲେ।

But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
48
କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଥିଲେ।

For Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଣନା ବେଳେ ମିଶାଇବ ନାହିଁ।

"Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;
50
ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ଓ ତହିଁର ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଜିନିଷ ତାହା ସହିତ ତା' ଉପରେ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିୟୁକ୍ତି କରିବ; ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ଓ ତହିଁର ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ବୋହିବେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ତହିଁର ସବୋ କରିବେ ଓ ତମ୍ବୁର ଚାରିଆଡେ ଛାଉଣୀ କରି ରହିବେ।

but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle, and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
51
ଯେତବେେଳେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତରିତ କରାୟିବ, ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ତଳକୁ ଆଣିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ଏବଂ ପୁଣିଥରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଲବେୀୟ ବ୍ଯତୀତ, ଅନ୍ୟ ଯେକହେି ସଠାେକୁ ୟାଏ, ତାକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରାୟିବ।

When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
52
ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶିବିର ଅଲଗା ଅଲଗା ଦଳ ରେ ବିଭକ୍ତ କଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକର ନିଜ ଧ୍ବଜା ରହିବା ଉଚିତ୍।

The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.

କିନ୍ତୁ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ନିଯମର ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେଓ ସମାନେେ ନିଯମର ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ଏହିପରି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର କୋରଧ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବ୍ଯାପିବ ନାହିଁ।

But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony."

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଥିଲେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ମାନେ ସହେିରୂପେ ମାନି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ।

Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so they did.
