1ଶୁଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହା କହନ୍ତି, ଉଠ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ପର୍ବତମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଓ ସହେି ପାହାଡ ଗୁଡିକ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର, ଯେଉଁ ପାହାଡଗୁଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭର କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତି।
1Listen now to what Yahweh says: "Arise, plead your case before the mountains, And let the hills hear what you have to say.
2ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏକ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅଛି। ତେଣୁ ହେ ପର୍ବତଗଣ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମସ୍ତ ମୂଳଦୁଆ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଶୁଣ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଭୂଲ୍ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରମାଣିତ ହବେ।
2Hear, you mountains, Yahweh's controversy, And you enduring foundations of the earth; For Yahweh has a controversy with his people, And he will contend with Israel.
3ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୁଣି କୁହନ୍ତି, ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୁହ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ କି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଅଛୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନକୁ କଠିନତର କରିଛି ବୋଲି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଦିଅ।
3My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me!
4ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ କରିଅଛୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ମାଶାେ, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ମରିଯମକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଅଛୁ। ମିଶରରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାସତ୍ବରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଛି।
4For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, And redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
5ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ, ମାୟୋବର ରାଜା ବାଲାକ୍ କିପ୍ରକାର ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିଲେ, ସ୍ମରଣ କର। ଆଉ ବିଯୋରର ପୁତ୍ର ବିଲିଯମ୍ ତାଙ୍କୁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେଥିଲେ, ତାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କର। ଶିଟୀମ୍ଠାରୁ ଗିଲ୍ଗଲ୍ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଯାହାସବୁ ଘଟିୟାଇଛି, ତାକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ମନେ ପକାଅ। ତାହା ହେଲେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନ୍ଯାଯ କର୍ମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବ।
5My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, And what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, That you may know the righteous acts of Yahweh."
6ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ଆଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭଟେିବା? କ'ଣ କରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବା? କ'ଣ ହାମବେଳି ଓ ଏକବର୍ଷୀଯ ଗୋବତ୍ସ ନଇେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭଟେି ଦବୋ?
6How shall I come before Yahweh, And bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old?
7ହଜାର ହଜାର ମଷେ ରେ କି ଅଯୁତ ତୈଳର ନଦୀ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କ'ଣ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହବେେ? ମାରେ ଅପରାଧ ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ସନ୍ତାନକୁ ପ୍ରତିଦାନ ସ୍ବରୂପ ଦବେି? ମାରେ ଶରୀରର ଫଳ ସ୍ବରୂପ ସନ୍ତାନକୁ ମାରେ ପାପ ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ ପରିଶାଧେ କରିବି?
7Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8ହେ ମାନବ, ଯାହା ଉତ୍ତମ ତାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏହାହିଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି। ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଭଲହୁଅ, ବଦାନ୍ଯତା ଓ କରୁଣାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଅ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନମ୍ରତାର ସହିତ ବାସ କର।
8He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, To love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
9ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁର ସ୍ବର ନଗରକୁ ଆହ୍ବାନ କରୁଛି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦବୋ ବିଜ୍ଞତାର ପରିଗ୍ଭୟକ ଅଟେ। ତେଣୁ ନଗରର ଲୋକ ଏବଂ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଶୁଣ।
9Yahweh's voice calls to the city, And wisdom sees your name: "Listen to the rod, And he who appointed it.
10ମନ୍ଦାଗ୍ଭରୀଗଣ କ'ଣ ଏବେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଗ୍ଭରେି ଧନସମ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ଲୁଗ୍ଭଇ ରଖିଛନ୍ତି? ସହେି ମନ୍ଦାଗ୍ଭରୀଗଣ ଏବେ କ'ଣ େଛାଟ ଐଫା ରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତାରଣା କରୁଛନ୍ତି? ହଁ, ଏହିସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଏବେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଘଟୁଅଛି।
10Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, And a short ephah that is accursed?
11ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଭୂଲ୍ ମାପକାଠି ଏବଂ ଅସାଧୁ ଓଜନ ସହ୍ଯ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ କି? ନା!
11Shall I be pure with dishonest scales, And with a bag of deceitful weights?
12ସହେି ନଗରୀର ଧନୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଷ୍ଠୁର ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନର ଲୋକେ ତଥାପି ମିଥ୍ଯା କହୁଛନ୍ତି। ହଁ, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚକ।
12Her rich men are full of violence, Her inhabitants speak lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their speech.
13ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦବୋ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଅଛୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପ ୟୋଗୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା।
13Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
14ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ ମାତ୍ର ତୃପ୍ତ ହବେନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତଥାପି ଭୋକିଲା ଓ ଶୂନ୍ଯ ରହିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିରାପଦ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବ ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ନିହତ ହବେେ।
14You shall eat, but not be satisfied. Your humiliation will be in your midst. You will store up, but not save; And that which you save I will give up to the sword.
15ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦିଓ ଶସ୍ଯ ବୁଣିବ କିନ୍ତୁ ଫସଲ ଅମଳ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଲିଭ ଫଳ ପଷେିବ ମାତ୍ର ତୈଳ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାଇଁ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦିଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ପଷେିବ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନୀଯ ପାଇଁ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
15You will sow, but won't reap. You will tread the olives, but won't anoint yourself with oil; And crush grapes, but won't drink the wine.
16କାହିଁକି ଏସବୁ ଘଟିବ? କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅମ୍ରିଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପାଳନ କରୁଛ ଏବଂ ଆହାବ ବଂଶର ପାଳିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଅବିଧିକୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଛ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛ, ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବା। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଧ୍ବସ୍ତ ନଗର ଦେଖିବେ ସମାନେେ ବିସ୍ମଯ ରେ ସିଟି ବଜାଇବେ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଲଜ୍ଜା ଅପମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବହନ କରିବ।
16For the statutes of Omri are kept, And all the works of the house of Ahab. You walk in their counsels, That I may make you a ruin, And her inhabitants a hissing; And you will bear the reproach of my people."
