ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ଏଭଳି ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବ, ଯେଉଁ କାରଣରୁ ଲୋକେ ପାପ କରିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଦ୍ବାରା ଏଭଳି ଘଟଣାମାନ ଘଟିବ, ସହେି ଲୋକ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ବହୁତ ଖରାପ ହବେ।

He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!

ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ଏଭଳି ଦୁର୍ବଳମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣକୁ ହେଲେ ପାପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଏ ତାହା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ବହୁତ ଖରାପ ହବେ। ବକରେେ ପଥର ବାନ୍ଧି ସମୁଦ୍ର ରେ ବୁଡି ମରିବା ତା ପକ୍ଷ ରେ ଭଲ ହବେ।

It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

ତେଣୁ ସାବଧାନ ରୁହ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ପାପ କରେ, ତବେେ ତାକୁ କୁହ ଯେ ଭୁଲ କରୁଛି। ସେ ଯଦି ଦୁଃଖ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଆଉ ପାପ କରନୋହିଁ, ତବେେ ତାକୁ କ୍ଷମା ଦିଅ।

Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.

ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ଦିନ ଭିତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ସାତଥର ଅନ୍ଯାୟ କରେ ଓ ପ୍ରତିଥର ଆସି କ ହେ ଯେ, ସେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ, ତବେେ ତାକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରି ଦିଅ।

If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."

ପ୍ ରରେିତମାନେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅଧିକ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ପ୍ରଦାନ କର।

The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."

ପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଗୋଟିଏ ଶାରେିଷ ଦାନା ପରିମାଣର ହାଇେଥାଏ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ତୁତ ଗଛକୁ କହିପାରିବ, ନିଜକୁ ଉପାଡି ନଇେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ରେ ରୋପଣ କର, ତବେେ ଗଛଟି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ମାନିବ।

The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
7
ମନକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରୁ ଜଣକର ଚାକରଟିଏ ଅଛି। ସହେି ଚାକର ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଲ ରେ କାମ କରିଆ ସେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଲ ରେ ହଳ କରି ଆସୁଛି କିମ୍ବା ମେଣ୍ଢାଙ୍କ ଯତ୍ନ ନଇେ ଆ ସେ। ସେ କାମରୁ ଫରେିବା ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାକୁ କ'ଣ କହିବ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ କହିବ ଯେ, 'ଭିତରକୁ ଆସ ଓ ଖାଇବାକୁ ବସ?'

But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table,'
8
ନା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚାକରକୁ କହିବ, 'ମାେ ପାଇଁ କିଛି ଖାଇବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର। ମାେ ଖିଆପିଆ ସରିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଖାଇବ ଓ ପିଇବ।'

and will not rather tell him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink'?

ଚାକର ବିଶଷେ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ବି ପାଇବା କଥା ନୁହେଁ। କାରଣ ମାଲିକ ଯାହା କରିବାକୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସେ କବଳେ ତାହାହିଁ କରେ।

Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ସହେି ଏକା କଥା ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା କାମତକ କରି ଦବୋ ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କହିବା ଉଚିତ ଯେ, 'ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୌଣସି ବିଶଷେ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ପାଇବାକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ନୋହୁଁ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ଚାକର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଯାହା କରିବା ଉଚିତ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ତାହାହିଁ କରିଛୁ।'

Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.'"

ଯୀଶୁ ୟିରୂଶାଲମ ଯାତ୍ରା କରୁଥିଲେ। ସେ ଗାଲୀଲୀରୁ ଶମିରୋଣକୁ ଗଲେ।

It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
12
ସେ ଗୋଟିଏ େଛାଟ ନଗରକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସଠାେରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦଶ ଜଣ ଲୋକ ଭଟେିଲେ। ସହେି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର କୁଷ୍ଠ ରୋଗ ହାଇେଥିବାରୁ ସମାନେେ କହେି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଅତି ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
13
କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପାଟି କରି ଡାକିଲେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ! ଦୟାକରି ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର।

They lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
14
ଯୀଶୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯାଇ ନିଜ ଦହକେୁ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଖାେଅ।

When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.
15
ସହେି ଦଶ ଜଣ ଲୋକ ଯାଜକଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲା ବେଳେ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହାଇଗେଲେ।

One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16
ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ନିଜକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଥିବାର ଦେଖି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଫରେି ଆସିଲା। ସେ ବଡ ପାଟିକରି ନଇଁପଡି ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଦୋଲା। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଦତଳେ ନଇଁପଡି ପ୍ରମାଣ କଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଦଲୋ। ଏହି ଲୋକଟି ଶମିରୋଣର ଅଧିବାସୀ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଯିହୂଦୀ ନଥିଲା,

He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
17
ଯୀଶୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ଦଶ ଜଣ ଲୋକ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଲେ, ତବେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ନଅ ଜଣ କାହାଁନ୍ତି?

Jesus answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18
ସୁସ୍ଥ ହାଇେ ସାରିବା ପରେ ପୁଣି ଫରେି ଆସି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଜଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ ଏହି ଶମିରୋଣୀୟ ଜଣକ କବଳେ ଥିଲା?

Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"
19
ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ଠିଆ ହୁଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏବେ ଯାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିଥିବା ହତେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭଲ ହାଇଗେଲ।

Then he said to him, "Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."
20
କେତକେ ଫାରୂଶୀ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ କବେେ ଆସିବ?

Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation;
21
ଲୋକମାନେ କହିବେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, ' ହଇେ ଦେଖ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଏଠା ରେ ଅଛି କିମ୍ବା ସଠାେରେ ଅଛି। ନା, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଭିତ ରେ ଅଛି।'

neither will they say, 'Look, here!' or, 'Look, there!' for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."
22
ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଦିନ ଆସିବ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ଦିନଗୁଡିକ ମାନଙ୍କ ଭତରୁ ଦିନଟିଏ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ବହୂତ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହା ଦେଖି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

He said to the disciples, "The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, ' ଦେଖ ତାହା ସଠାେରେ!' ' ଦେଖ, ତାହା ଏଠା ରେ! କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁଠି ଅଛ ସହେିଠା ରେ ରୁହ। ବାହାରକୁ ଯାଇ ଖାଜେ ନାହିଁ।

They will tell you, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Don't go away, nor follow after them,
24
ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଫରେି ଆସିବା ସମୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବ। ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ସେ ଫରେି ଆସିବେ, ସେ ଆକାଶ ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳ ବିଜୁଳି ଝଲକିଲା ଭଳି ଦଖାେଯିବେ।

for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
25
କିନ୍ତୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ର ପ୍ରଥମେ ଅନକେ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଭୋଗ କରିବେ ଏବଂ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ହତ ହବେେ।
25
But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26
ନୋହ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଯାହା ଘଟିଥିଲା ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ର ଫରେି ଆସିବା ସମୟରେ ସହେି ଏକା କଥା ଘଟିବ।

As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
27
ନୋହଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ, ଏପରିକି ନୋହ ଜାହାଜ ରେ ବସିବା ସମୟ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଖିଆପିଆ କରୁଥିଲେ ଓ ବିବାହ କରୁଥିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ବନ୍ଯା ମାଡି ଆସିଲା ଓ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ମାରି ଦଲୋ।

They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଲୋଟଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ସଦୋମ ନଗର ଧ୍ବଂସ କଲା ବେଳେ ଯାହା ଘଟିଥିଲା, ଏବେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି କଥା ଘଟିବ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ସେତବେେଳେ ଖିଆପିଆ, କିଣାବିକା କରୁଥିଲେ। ଗଛ ଲଗାଉଥିଲେ ଓ ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ଘର ତୋଳୁଥିଲେ।

Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29
ଲୋଟ ନଗର ଛାଡି ଚାଲିୟିବା ସମୟ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମଧ୍ଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏସବୁ କାମ କରୁଥିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସଠାେରେ ଆକାଶରୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓ ଗନ୍ଧକ ବର୍ଷା ହେଲା ଓ ତାହା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ମାରି ଦଲୋ।

but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
30
ଯେତବେେଳେ ମନଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ର ଫରେି ଆସିବେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଠିକ୍ ସହେିଭଳି ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବ।

It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
31
ସେ ଦିନ ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ତା'ର ଘରର ଛାତ ଉପରେ ଥିବ, ଭିତରକୁ ଯାଇ ଜିନିଷପତ୍ର ଆଣିବାକୁ ତାକୁ ସମୟ ହବେନାହିଁ। ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ବିଲ ରେ ଥିବ, ତବେେ ସେ ଘରକୁ ଫରେି ପାରିବନାହିଁ।

In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
32
ଲୋଟଙ୍କ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କର କ'ଣ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ମନେ ପକାଅ।

Remember Lot's wife!

ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ନିଜ ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବ, ସେ ତାହା ହ ରଇେ ବସିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତା ଜୀବନ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବ, ସେ ତାହା ରକ୍ଷା କରିବ।

Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
34
ମୁଁ ଫରେି ଆସିବା ସମୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ କଠାେରୀ ରେ ହୁଏତ ସହେି ରାତି ରେ ଦୁଇଜଣ ଲୋକ ଶୋଇଥାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣକୁ ନିଆ ହବେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ଛାଡି ଦିଆୟିବ।

I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
35
ହୁଏତ ଦୁଇଜଣ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ଏକତ୍ର ଚକି ରେ ଶସ୍ଯ ଦାନା ପେଶୁ ଥାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି,

There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken, and the other will be left."

କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣକୁ ନଇେ ନିଆୟିବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ଛାଡି ଦିଆୟିବ।

ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଏ ଘଟଣା କେଉଁଠା ରେ ଘଟିବ ପ୍ରଭୁ?
37
They answering, asked him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together."
