ଏହାପରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ 5,000 ୈସନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଛିଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନଗରର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପଟେ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଚି ରହିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇ ଦେଲେ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନଟି ବୈଥେଲ୍ ଓ ଅଯର ମଝି ରେ ଥିଲା।

He took about five thousand men, and set them in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.
