1ତା'ପରେ ଆୟୁବ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲା,
1Then Job answered,
2ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭାବୁଛ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭାବୁଛ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମରିଗଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଜ୍ଞାନ ମଧ୍ଯ ମରିୟିବ।
2"No doubt, but you are the people, And wisdom shall die with you.
3କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେ ମନ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନ ଭଳି ଭଲ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଠାରୁ ନ୍ଯୁନ ନୁହେଁ। ଯେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ବୋଲି ଦେଖିପାରିବ।
3But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: Yes, who doesn't know such things as these?
4ମୁଁ ମାରେ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କର ହାସ୍ଯାସ୍ପଦର ପାତ୍ର ହାଇେଅଛି। ସମାନେେ କୁହନ୍ତି : ସେ 'ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଡ଼ାକିଲା ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଏପରି ସବୁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ତାକୁ ଘଟିଲା।' ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ସରଳ ତଥାପି ସମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଦେଖି ହସନ୍ତି।
4I am like one who is a joke to his neighbor, I, who called on God, and he answered. The just, the blameless man is a joke.
5ମଶାଲ ତା' ପାଇଁ ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ନାହିଁ ୟିଏ ନିଜକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ବୋଲି ଭାବେ। ଏହା ସହେିମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପ ଯୋଗୀ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ପାଦ ଖସି ଯାଉଛି।
5In the thought of him who is at ease there is contempt for misfortune, It is ready for them whose foot slips.
6ଡ଼କାଯତମାନଙ୍କ ତମ୍ବୁଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଅଟେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରାନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ରହନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବଳ ହେଉଛି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରମେଶ୍ବର।
6The tents of robbers prosper, Those who provoke God are secure; Who carry their God in their hands.
7ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜନ୍ତୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବେେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବେ।
7"But ask the animals, now, and they shall teach you; The birds of the sky, and they shall tell you.
8ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ପଚାର ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ମାଛକୁ ପଚାର ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ କଥା କହିବ।
8Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach you; The fish of the sea shall declare to you.
9ଏକଥା ସମସ୍ତେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏସବୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛନ୍ତି।
9Who doesn't know that in all these, The hand of Yahweh has done this,
10ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଓ ନିଶ୍ବାସ ନଇେ ବଞ୍ଚୁଥିବା ମଣିଷସବୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିର ଅଧୀନ ରେ।
10In whose hand is the life of every living thing, The breath of all mankind?
11କିନ୍ତୁ ଜିହ୍ବା ଯେପରି ଖାଦ୍ୟର ସ୍ବାଦ ବାରିପା ରେ। କାନ ସପରେି ଶୁଣୁଥିବା ଶବ୍ଦକୁ ବାରିପା ରେ।
11Doesn't the ear try words, Even as the palate tastes its food?
12ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ କହୁଛୁ, 'ଜ୍ଞାନ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଅଛି। ବୁଝାମଣା ଦୀର୍ଘଜୀବନ ବଢ଼ାଏ।'
12With aged men is wisdom, In length of days understanding.
13କିନ୍ତୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ଶକ୍ତି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଅଛି। ସଦୁପଦେଶ ଓ ବୁଝିବା ଶକ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କର ଅଛି।
13"With God is wisdom and might. He has counsel and understanding.
14ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବର କିଛି ଚିରି ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ଲୋକେ ତାହାକୁ ଆଉ ପୁଣି ତିଆରି କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜଣକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀଗୃହ ରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ଲୋକେ ଚେଷ୍ଟାକରି ମଧ୍ଯ ତାକୁ ମୁକୁଳାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
14Behold, he breaks down, and it can't be built again; He imprisons a man, and there can be no release.
15ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବର୍ଷାକୁ ରଦ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି, ତା' ହେଲେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହାଇୟୋଏ ଏବଂ ସେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ବର୍ଷା ଛାଡ଼ି ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତା' ହେଲେ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ବନ୍ଯା ହାଇୟୋଏ।
15Behold, he withholds the waters, and they dry up; Again, he sends them out, and they overturn the earth.
16ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବଳଶାଳୀ, ସବୁଠା ରେ ତାଙ୍କର ବିଜଯ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ। ତେଣୁ ହାରିବା ଓ ଜିତିବା ସବୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରେ।
16With him is strength and wisdom; The deceived and the deceiver are his.
17ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତାମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନକୁ ହରଣ କରି ନିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ନେତା ବା ବିଚାରକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ବୋଧ ରେ ପରିଣତ କରନ୍ତି।
17He leads counselors away stripped. He makes judges fools.
18ରାଜା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଗୃହ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ଦଇେ ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କରି ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
18He loosens the bond of kings, He binds their loins with a belt.
19ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ହରଣ କରି ନିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଅଧିକ ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ପାରିଷଦମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ନିଜକୁ ସବୁଠାରୁ ନିରାପଦ ମନକରେନ୍ତି।
19He leads priests away stripped, And overthrows the mighty.
20ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଚୁପ କରାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବୁଦ୍ଧିକୁ ହରଣ କରି ନିଅନ୍ତି।
20He removes the speech of those who are trusted, And takes away the understanding of the elders.
21ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରି ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସେ ଶାସକଠାରୁ କ୍ଷମତା ମଧ୍ଯ ଛଡ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି।
21He pours contempt on princes, And loosens the belt of the strong.
22ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅନ୍ଧକାରର ଗୂଢ଼ ରହସ୍ଯକୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ସେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଭଳି ଘନ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଲୋକିତ କରିଦଇେ ପାରନ୍ତି।
22He uncovers deep things out of darkness, And brings out to light the shadow of death.
23ପରମେଶ୍ବର ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ଓ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଶଷେ ରେ ତାକୁ ବିଛାଡ଼ି ପକାନ୍ତି। ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ତା'ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରନ୍ତି।
23He increases the nations, and he destroys them. He enlarges the nations, and he leads them captive.
24ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୋକା ବନାଇ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯହୀନ ଭାବରେ ବୁଲାଇ ବାଟବଣା କରିଦିଅନ୍ତି।
24He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth, And causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25ସହେି ନେତାମାନେ ଆଲୋକ ବିନା ଅନ୍ଧାର ରେ ଦରାଣ୍ଡି ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମାତାଲ ଭଳି ଟଳମଳ ଓ ଇତସ୍ତତଃ କରାନ୍ତି।
25They grope in the dark without light. He makes them stagger like a drunken man.
