1ମୁଁ ମାରେ ନିଜର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ସ୍ବଚ୍ଛନ୍ଦ ରେ ମାରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବି। ମାରେ ଆତ୍ମା ତିକ୍ତ ହାଇେ ଗଲାଣି। ତେଣୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୁଁ କହିପାରିବି।
1"My soul is weary of my life; I will give free course to my complaint. I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
2ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କହି ପାରିବି, ' ମାେତେ କଳଙ୍କିତ କର ନାହିଁ। ମାେତେ କବଳେ ଏତିକି କୁହନ୍ତୁ, ମୁଁ କ'ଣ ଭୁଲ କରିଛି। ଆପଣଙ୍କର ମାେ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ କ'ଣ କହିବାର ଅଛି।
2I will tell God, 'Do not condemn me, Show me why you contend with me.
3ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମାେତେ ଆଘାତ କରନ୍ତି, ତାହା କ'ଣ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଖୁସି କରେ ? ଏପରି ଦଖାଯାେଉଛି ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହାକୁ ଗଢ଼ିଛ, ତାହାର କୌଣସି ଯତ୍ନ ନେଉ ନାହଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ଯୋଜନା ରେ ଖୁସି।
3Is it good to you that you should oppress, That you should despise the work of your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?
4ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭର କ'ଣ ଚର୍ମର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଅଛି। ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନେ ଯେପରି ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ସପରେି ଦେଖ।
4Do you have eyes of flesh? Or do you see as man sees?
5ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଯୁ କ'ଣ ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଆଯୁ ଭଳି କ୍ଷୀଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜୀବନ କ'ଣ ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଜୀବନଭଳି କ୍ଷଣସ୍ଥାଯୀ?
5Are your days as the days of mortals, Or your years as man's years,
6ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଅଧର୍ମ ଓ ପାପକୁ ଖୋଜୁଛ।
6That you inquire after my iniquity, And search after my sin?
7ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତ ଜାଣ ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହାତରୁ ମାେତେ କହେି ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
7Although you know that I am not wicked, There is no one who can deliver out of your hand.
8ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହାତ ରେ ଗଢ଼ିଛ। ମାରେ ଶରୀରକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବଦଳିଛ ଏବଂ ମାେତେ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିଛ।
8'Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether; Yet you destroy me.
9ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନରେଖ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ମାଟି ତୁଲ୍ଯ ତିଆରି କରିଥିଲ। ପୁଣି ମାେତେ ଧୂଳି ରେ ମିଶାଇ ଦବେ କି ?
9Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. Will you bring me into dust again?
10ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷୀର ପରି ମାେତେ ଢ଼ାଳି ଦଇେଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଛନୋ ପରି ମାେତେ ଘୁରାଅ ଏବଂ ଚିପୁଡ଼ି ଦିଅ।
10Haven't you poured me out like milk, And curdled me like cheese?
11ଏତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ହାଡ ଓ ଶିରା ରେ ମାରେ ଶରୀର ଗଢ଼ିଛ ତା'ପରେ ଚର୍ମ ଓ ମାଂସ ରେ ମାରେ ଶରୀର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଛ।
11You have clothed me with skin and flesh, And knit me together with bones and sinews.
12ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଜୀବନ ଦାନ କରିଛ ଏବଂ ମାେତେ ଦୟା ଦଖାଇେଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଯତ୍ନ ନଇେଛ ଏବଂ ମାରେ ଆତ୍ମାର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯବେକ୍ଷକ ହାଇେଛ।
12You have granted me life and loving kindness. Your visitation has preserved my spirit.
13ତଥାପି ଏସବୁ ବିଷଯ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହୃଦଯ ରେ ଗୋପନ ରଖିଥିଲ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ମନର ଗୋପନ ଅଭିପ୍ରାଯ। ହଁ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ଏହାହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମନର ବିଚାର।
13Yet you hid these things in your heart. I know that this is with you:
14ଯଦି ମୁଁ ପାପ କରିଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଦେଖିବ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଅଧର୍ମ କରିଥିବାରୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦବେ।
14If I sin, then you mark me. You will not acquit me from my iniquity.
15ମୁଁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ପାପ କରେ, ମୁଁ ଦୋଷୀ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ତାହା ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ବହୁତ ଖରାପ। ଯଦିଓ ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ ମୁଁ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଟକେି ପା ରେ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ଏତେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ବିଚଳିତ ହୁଏ।
15If I am wicked, woe to me. If I am righteous, I still shall not lift up my head, Being filled with disgrace, And conscious of my affliction.
16ଯଦି ମାେ ଜୀବନ ରେ କିଛି ସଫଳତା ଆସିଛି ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଗର୍ବିତ ବା ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଟକେି ବାଟ ଚାଲିବାର ଶକ୍ତି ହାସଲ କରୁଛି। ଏବେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରୁଛ।
16If my head is held high, you hunt me like a lion. Again you show yourself powerful to me.
17ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନୂଆ ସାକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନଇେଆସ ମାେତେ ଅଧର୍ମ ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ରାଗକୁ ମାେ ଉପରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ନାନା ପ୍ରକାର ରେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରୁଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୈନ୍ଯ ପରେ ସୈନ୍ଯ ମାେ ବରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ପଠାଇଛ।
17You renew your witnesses against me, And increase your indignation on me. Changes and warfare are with me.
18ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ କାହିଁକି ଜନ୍ମ ହବୋକୁ ଦଲେ ? ମୁଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ କହେି ମାେତେ ଦେଖିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମରିୟାଇଥାନ୍ତି।
18"'Why, then, have you brought me forth out of the womb? I wish I had given up the spirit, and no eye had seen me.
19ମାେତେ ଭଲ ହାଇେଥାଆନ୍ତା ଯଦି ମୁଁ ବଞ୍ଚି ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତି। କି ମାତୃଗର୍ଭରୁ ସିଧା କବରକୁ ୟାଇଥିଲେ ଭଲ ହାଇେଥାନ୍ତା।
19I should have been as though I had not been. I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
20ମାରେ ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରାଯ ଶଷେ ହାଇୟୋଇଛି, ତେଣୁ ମାେତେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦିଅ। ଯାହା କିଛି ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ଜୀବନର ବାକି ଅଛି, ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ।
20Aren't my days few? Cease then, Leave me alone, that I may find a little comfort,
21ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମୁଁ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ୟିବି ଯେଉଁଠାରୁ କହେି କବେେ ଫେ ରେ ନାହିଁ। ଯାହା ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଅଟେ।
21Before I go where I shall not return from, To the land of darkness and of the shadow of death;
22ମାରେ ଯେଉଁ ଅଳ୍ପ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଜୀବନ ବାକି ଅଛି ତାକୁ ଭୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ସହେି ଦେଶକୁ ୟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଯାହାକୁ କହେି କବେେ ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ, ସହେି ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଅବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ଆଲୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଘନ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ସମାନ ଅଟେ।
22The land dark as midnight, Of the shadow of death, without any order, Where the light is as midnight.'"
