1ୟୋଶଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋକୀମ୍ଙ୍କ ଶାସନର ଆରମ୍ଭ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି ବାକ୍ଯ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
1In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
2ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭରୁ କେତକେ ୟୁଆଳି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ଆପଣା ସ୍କନ୍ଧ ରେ ରଖ।
2Thus says Yahweh to me: Make you bonds and bars, and put them on your neck;
3ପୁଣି ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯଙ୍କୁ ଦକୋ କରିବାକୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଥିବା ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ୟୁଆଳିଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଇଦୋମ, ମାଯାେବ, ଅମ୍ମାନେ, ସୋର ଓ ସୀଦୋନର ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଅ।
3and send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah;
4ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦିଅ, 'ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କର୍ତ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିବ।
4and give them a charge to their masters, saying, Thus says Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel, Thus shall you tell your masters:
5ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ମହାପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ବିଶାଳ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ବାହୁ ଦ୍ବାରା ଏହି ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ନିବାସୀ ସକଳ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଓ ପଶୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛୁ। ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସ୍ବଇଚ୍ଛା ରେ ଯାହାକୁ ଉଚିତ ମନେ କରିବୁ, ଏହା ଦଇପୋରିବୁ।
5I have made the earth, the men and the animals that are on the surface of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it to whom it seems right to me.
6ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହିସବୁ ଦେଶ ମାରେ ଦାସ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସରର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦଇେଅଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହାର ସବୋ କରିବାକୁ ଦଇେଅଛୁ।
6Now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the animals of the field also have I given him to serve him.
7ପୁଣି ସମୁଦାଯ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସର, ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ପୌତ୍ରର ସବୋ କରିବେ। ପୁଣି ଏକ ସମୟ ଆସିବ, ଅନକେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଓ ମହାନ୍ ମହାନ୍ ରାଜାମାନେ ବାବିଲ ରେ ନିଜର ଦାସ୍ଯକର୍ମ କରିବେ।
7All the nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his own land come: and then many nations and great kings shall make him their bondservant.
8ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଓ ରାଜ୍ଯ ସହେି ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସରର ଦାସ୍ଯକର୍ମ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ୟୁଆଳି ତଳେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବକେ ରଖିବେ ନାହିଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି,ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେ ଦେଶକୁ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସଂହାର ନ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭର ଖଡ୍ଗ, ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଓ ମହାମାରୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋ।
8It shall happen, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, says Yahweh, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦିବ୍ଯଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟାମାନଙ୍କର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ବପ୍ନଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟାମାନଙ୍କର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚାଟୁକାରମାନଙ୍କର କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ୟାଦୁକରମାନଙ୍କର କଥା ଶୁଣିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲୋନର ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସବୋ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।
9But as for you, don't you listen to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବଦେଶରୁ ଦୂ ରଇେ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେପରି ନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
10for they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, and that I should drive you out, and you should perish.
11କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ୟୁଆଳି ତଳେ ନିଜ ନିଜର ବକେ ଦବେେ ଓ ତାହାର ଦାସ୍ଯ କର୍ମ କରିବେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସ୍ବଦେଶ ରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଦବୋ ଓ ସମାନେେ ସଠାେ ରେ କୃଷି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ବାସ କରିବେ।
11But the nation that shall bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, that nation will I let remain in their own land, says Yahweh; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
12'ଅନନ୍ତର ମୁଁ ସହେି ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ଯ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯକୁ କହିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବକେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ୟୁଆଳି ତଳେ ରଖ ଓ ତାହାର ଏବଂ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସବୋ କର। ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ।
12I spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ, ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ରେ ଓ ମହାମାରୀ ରେ ମରିବ ? ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବାବିଲୋନ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସବୋ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଘଟିବ।
13Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as Yahweh has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14ପୁଣି ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ସବୋ କର ନାହିଁ।
14Don't listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon; for they prophesy a lie to you.
15ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବି ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମାେ ନାମ ରେ ତାହା ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦବେି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଓ ସହେି ପ୍ରଚାରକ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଗଣ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ।
15For I have not sent them, says Yahweh, but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you , and the prophets who prophesy to you.
16ତା'ପ ରେ ମୁଁ, ଯିରିମିୟ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଏହା କହନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି। ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଗଣ ଓ ଯାଜକଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କହନ୍ତି ଯେ, 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସମସ୍ତ ବାସନକୁସନ ଶୀଘ୍ର ବାବିଲରୁ ଅଣାୟିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ କଥା ରେ ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି।
16Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says Yahweh: Don't listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of Yahweh's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon; for they prophesy a lie to you.
17ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ କଥା ରେ ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। ବାବିଲ ରାଜାର ସବୋ କର, ତାହା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ। ଆଉ ଏହି ନଗର ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ କାହିଁକି ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବାକୁ ଦବେ ?
17Don't listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: why should this city become a desolation?
18ଆଉ ଯଦି ସମାନେେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେଠା ରେ ଥାଏ, ତବେେ ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ରେ, ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜଗୃହ ରେ ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ପାତ୍ର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଛି ତାହା ଯେପରି ବାବିଲକୁ ନ ୟାଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବୀନତି କରନ୍ତୁ।
18But if they be prophets, and if the word of Yahweh be with them, let them now make intercession to Yahweh of Hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of Yahweh, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don't go to Babylon.
19କାରଣ ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ବଯ, ସମୁଦ୍ର, ବୈଠକି ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ବାସନ କୁସନ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ରେ କହନ୍ତି, ଯାହାକି ଏହି ନଗର ରେ ଛାଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି।
19For thus says Yahweh of Hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that are left in this city,
20ଯେତବେେଳେ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ୟିହୋଯାକୀମଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଖୀନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସର ବନ୍ଦୀକରି ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ ସେତବେେଳେ ସେ ସବୁ ଜିନିଷ ନଇେ ନ ଥିଲେ।
20which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon didn't take, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
21ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ, ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦ ରେ ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଥିବା, ସହେି ସମସ୍ତ ବାସନ କୁସନ ବାବିଲକୁ ଅଣାୟିବ।
21yes, thus says Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of Yahweh, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem:
22ସହେିସବୁ ବାବିଲକୁ ଅଣାୟିବ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକର ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ନ କରିବା ଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସେ ସବୁ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଥିବ। ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତାହାପ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେସବୁ ଜିନିଷକୁ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଫରୋଇ ଆଣିବା।
22They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be, until the day that I visit them, says Yahweh; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
