1ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ ଘାଷେଣା କର, ସ୍ବର କ୍ଷୀଣ କର ନାହିଁ। ତୂରୀପରି ଚିତ୍କାର କର। ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅଧର୍ମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଓ ଯାକୁବ ବଂଶକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାପ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ରେ ଜଣାଅ।
1Cry aloud, don't spare, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and declare to my people their disobedience, and to the house of Jacob their sins.
2ତାହା ହେଲେ ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ କରିବେ ଓ ମାରେ ପଥ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବେ। ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଯ ଲୋକେ ପୂଜା କର୍ମ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ନିଜର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବିଧାନ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପରି ସମାନେେ ପୁଜାବିଧାନ ବିଷଯ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପଚାରନ୍ତି ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବାକୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
2Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness, and didn't forsake the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.
3ସମାନେେ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭକ୍ତି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଉପବାସ କରିଅଛୁ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁ ନାହଁ ? ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କାହିଁକି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଦଇେଅଛୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନୋୟୋଗ କରୁ ନାହଁ ?
3Why have we fasted, say they, and you don't see? why have we afflicted our soul, and you take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast you find your own pleasure, and exact all your labors.
4ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିବାଦ ଓ କଳହ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏବଂ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରୂପକ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ଦ୍ବାରା ଆଘାତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉପବାସ କରୁଅଛ। ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଶଂସାଗାନ ଯେପରି ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ ରେ ଶୁଣାୟିବ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଉପବାସ କରୁ ନାହଁ।
4Behold, you fast for strife and contention, and to strike with the fist of wickedness: you don't fast this day so as to make your voice to be heard on high.
5ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଏହିପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସଦ୍ବାରା ନିଜର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଦେଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଏହିପ୍ରକାର ଦିନ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛୁ ? ପୁଣି ନଳବୃକ୍ଷ ପରି ମୁଣ୍ଡ ନୁଆଁଇ, ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କରି ଓ ଭସ୍ମ ଜଳେ ବିଛାଇ ତା'ଉପ ରେ ବସିଲେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସ ଦିନକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିବ ?
5Is such the fast that I have chosen? the day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a rush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?
6ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରୂପ ବନ୍ଧନ ଫିଟାଇଲେ, ୟୁଆଳିର ବନ୍ଧନ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାର ଉପଦ୍ରବଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତିକରି ଛାଡ଼ି ଦବୋର ଓ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ୟୁଆଳି ଭଗ୍ନ କରିବାର, ଏହିପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହୁଁ ?
6Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?
7ପୁଣି କ୍ଷୁଧିତ ଲୋକକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ବଣ୍ଟନ କରିବାର ତାଡ଼ିତ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକକୁ ନିଜ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିବାର, ଉଲଗ୍ନକୁ ଦେଖି ତାକୁ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧାଇଦବୋର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିଜ ବଂଶୀଯ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ନିଜକୁ ନ ଲୁଚାଇବାର, ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହୁଁ ?'
7Isn't it to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? when you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8ଏହାକଲେ ଅରୁଣସଦୃଶ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀପ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଅଙ୍କୁରିତ ହବେ। ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ' ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହବେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମହିମା ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଶ୍ଚାତବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହବେ।
8Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your healing shall spring forth speedily; and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Yahweh shall by your rearward.
9ସେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡ଼ାକିବ ଓ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆର୍ତ୍ତସ୍ବର ରେ କହିବ, ଆଉ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଠା ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଅଛୁ।'
9Then shall you call, and Yahweh will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, Here I am. If you take away from the midst of you the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;
10ପୁଣି ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷୁଧିତକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦଇେଥିବ ଓ ଦୁଃଖିତର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ତୃପ୍ତ କରିଥିବ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ ହବେ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚାରିଦିଗ ରେ ଥବା ଗାଢ଼ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଦ୍ବିପହରର ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ ପରି ଦଖାୟିବେ।
10and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity be as the noonday;
11ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସର୍ବଦା ବାଟ କଢ଼ାଇ ନବେେ। ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଭାବ ତୃପ୍ତ କରିବେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅସ୍ଥିଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବଳିଷ୍ଠ କରିବେ। ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଳସିକ୍ତ ଉଦ୍ୟାନତୁଲ୍ଯ କିମ୍ବା ଜଳପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଝରଣା ସଦୃଶ ହବେ।
11and Yahweh will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make strong your bones; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters don't fail.
12ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶୀଯ ଲୋକେ ପୁରାତନ ଧ୍ବଂସ ସ୍ଥାନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପୁନନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ବକାଳର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ଉପ ରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ। ପୁଣି ଭଗ୍ନ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନିର୍ମାଣକାରୀ ଓ ନିବାସ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୁନଃ ପଥ ସଂସ୍ଥାପନକାରୀ ବୋଲି ବିଖ୍ଯାତ ହବେ।
12Those who shall be of you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
13ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଲଙ୍ଘନରୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ଦିନ ରେ ନିଜ ଅଭିଳାଷ ଚେଷ୍ଟାରୁ ନିଜ ପାଦ ଫରୋଅ, ପୁଣି ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରକୁ ସୁଖଦାୟକ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ଦିନକୁ ଆଦରଣୀଯ ବୋଲି କୁହ, ଆଉ ନିଜ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନ କରି ଅବା ନିଜ ଅଭିଳାଷର ଚେଷ୍ଟା ନ କରି ଅଥବା ନିଜ କଥା ନ କହି ତାହାକୁ ଆଦର କରିବ ;
13If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of Yahweh honorable; and shall honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
14ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବ ; ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପୃଥିବୀର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥାନମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ଆରୋହଣ କରାଇବା ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଯାକୁବର ଅଧିକାର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୋଗ କରାଇବା ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଏହା ନିଃସୃତ ହାଇେଅଛି।
14then shall you delight yourself in Yahweh; and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.
