1ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମରିୟିବା ପରେ, ଯୋଷଫେ ବହୁତ ଦଃୁଖ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ ରୋଦନ କଲେ ଓ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କଲେ।
1Joseph fell on his father's face, wept on him, and kissed him.
2ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ବୈଦ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତାଙ୍କର ଶରୀରକୁ ସଂସ୍କାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଶରୀରକୁ ମିଶରୀଯ ପଦ୍ଧତି ରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।
2Joseph commanded his servants, the physicians, to embalm his father; and the physicians embalmed Israel.
3ମିଶରୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସତୁରି ଦିନୟାଏ ଶାେକ କଲେ। ଶରୀର ସଂସ୍କାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ରେ ଶଷେ ହେଲା। ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶୋକପରେ ଯୋଷଫେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ।
3Forty days were fulfilled for him, for that is how many the days it takes to embalm. The Egyptians wept for him for seventy days.
4ଏହି ସତୁରି ଦିନପରେ ଶୋକ ଦିନ ଶଷେ ହେଲା। ତେଣୁ ଯୋଷଫେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ପରିଜନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ମାରେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଭାବୁଛ, ଦୟାକରି ଫାରୋଙ୍କୁ କୁହ।
4When the days of weeping for him were past, Joseph spoke to the house of Pharaoh, saying, "If now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,
5' ମାରେ ପିତାଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲି ଯେ ତାଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ଯୁପରେ କିଣାନ ଦେଶ ରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ କବର ଖନନ କରିଥିଲେ ତହିଁରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦବେି। ତେଣୁ ଏବେ ମାେତେ ୟିବାକୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ। ମୁଁ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦଇେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆସିବି।'
5'My father made me swear, saying, "Behold, I am dying. Bury me in my grave which I have dug for myself in the land of Canaan." Now therefore, please let me go up and bury my father, and I will come again.'"
6ଫାରୋ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ରକ୍ଷା କରିୟାଅ। ୟାଅ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦିଅ।
6Pharaoh said, "Go up, and bury your father, just like he made you swear."
7ତେଣୁ ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦବୋକୁ ଗଲେ। ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣ ତାଙ୍କ ଗୃହର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକ ଏବଂ ମିଶର ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଗଲେ।
7Joseph went up to bury his father; and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, all the elders of the land of Egypt,
8ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେ ପରିବାର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ, ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ବଂଶ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଲେ। ଗୋଶନ ରେ କବଳେ ପଶୁ ଓ ପିଲାମାନେ ରହିଲେ।
8all the house of Joseph, his brothers, and his father's house. Only their little ones, their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen.
9ତାଙ୍କ ସହ ଏକ ବିରାଟ ସମାରୋହ ଗଲା। ଏପରିକି ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅଶ୍ବାରୋହି ସୈନ୍ଯ ଓ ରଥାରୋହି ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଗଲେ।
9There went up with him both chariots and horsemen. It was a very great company.
10ଏହାପରେ ସମାନେେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନପାରସ୍ଥ ଆଟଦର ଖଳା ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ସଠାେରେ ମହାବିଳାପ କରି ରୋଦନ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେ ପିତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସାତଦିନ ଶାେକ କଲେ।
10They came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, and there they lamented with a very great and sore lamentation. He mourned for his father seven days.
11ସହେି ଦେଶ ନିବାସୀ କିଣାନୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଟଦର ଖଳା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଏରୂପ ଶାେକ ଦେଖି କହିଲେ, ମିଶ୍ରୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହା ଦାରୁଣ ଦୁଃଖ। ସହେିସ୍ଥାନ ଆବଲେ-ମିଶର ନାମ ରେ ବିଖ୍ଯାତ ହେଲା। ଏହା ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାରସ୍ଥ ରେ।
11When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, "This is a grievous mourning by the Egyptians." Therefore, the name of it was called Abel Mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.
12ତା'ପରେ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଥିଲେ ସମାନେେ ତଦନୁସା ରେ ସହେିପରି କଲେ।
12His sons did to him just as he commanded them,
13ଯାକୁବର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କିଣାନ ଦେଶକୁ ନଇେ ମକ୍ପଲୋ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ଗୁହା ରେ କବର ଦେଲେ। ମମ୍ରି ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ସହେି ଗୁହା କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ସମାଧି ଭୂମିରୂପେ ଇଫ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ହତେୀଯଠାରୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା କିଣା ୟାଇଥିଲା।
13for his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field, for a possession of a burying-place, from Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.
14ଯୋଷଫେ ଆପଣା ପିତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦଇେସାରିବା ପରେ ସେ, ତାଙ୍କ ଭାଇମାନେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟାଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ମିଶରକୁ ଫରେିଗଲେ।
14Joseph returned into Egypt�he, and his brothers, and all that went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.
15ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ଯୁପରେ, ଯୋଷଫେର ଭାଇମାନେ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହାଇେ ପଡ଼ିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଭୟ କଲେ ଯେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଯେପରି କରିଥିଲୁ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଯୋଷଫେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବ ଓ ତା'ର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦବେ।
15When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "It may be that Joseph will hate us, and will fully pay us back for all of the evil which we did to him.
16ତେଣୁ ତା'ର ଭାଇମାନେ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେ ନିକଟକୁ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଠାଇଲେ:
16They sent a message to Joseph, saying, "Your father commanded before he died, saying,
17ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ କୁହ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ମନ୍ଦ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସହେି ଅଧର୍ମ ଓ ପାପ ମାର୍ଜନା କରିବ।' ଏଣୁକରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିନଯ କରୁଅଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୈତୃକ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦାସଗଣର ଅଧର୍ମ ମାର୍ଜନା କର।
17"So you shall tell Joseph, 'Now please forgive the disobedience of your brothers, and their sin, because they did evil to you.' Now, please forgive the disobedience of the servants of the God of your father." Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
18ତା'ର ଭାଇମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ହବେୁ।
18His brothers also went and fell down before his face; and they said, "Behold, we are your servants."
19ଏହାପରେ ଯୋଷଫେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନୁହେଁ। ମାରେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋର ଅଧିକାର ନାହିଁ।
19Joseph said to them, "Don't be afraid, for am I in the place of God?
20ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିଲ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବାସ୍ତବ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଯୋଜନା ଥିଲାଉତ୍ତମ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଯୋଜନା ଥିଲା ଯେ, ସେ ମାେ ଦ୍ବାରା ବହୁତ ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁଥି ପାଇଁ ଏସବୁ ହେଲା।
20As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
21ତେଣୁ ଭୟକର ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କର ଯତ୍ନ ନବେି। ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ରେ ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧୁର ବଚନ ରେ ତୋଷିଲେ। ଏହିପରି କଥା ରେ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ଦେଲେ।
21Now therefore don't be afraid. I will nourish you and your little ones." He comforted them, and spoke kindly to them.
22ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତାଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ସହିତ ମିଶର ରେ ରହିଲେ। ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ 110 ବର୍ଷ ହେଲା, ସେ ସୃତ୍ଯୁ ବରଣ କଲେ।
22Joseph lived in Egypt, he, and his father's house. Joseph lived one hundred ten years.
23ଯୋଷଫେ ଇଫ୍ରାଯିର ତୃତୀୟ ପୁରୁଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନ ସନ୍ତତି ଦେଖିଲେ। ଯୋଷଫେ ମନଃଶିର, ମାଖୀର୍ ନାମକ ପୁତ୍ରର ଶିଶୁ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ କୋଳ କଲେ।
23Joseph saw Ephraim's children to the third generation. The children also of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were born on Joseph's knees.
24ଏହାପରେ ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପର୍କୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ମରୁଅଛି ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅବଶ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯତ୍ନ ନବେେ। ତା'ପରେ ଏହି ଦେଶରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ନବେେ ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ସେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସଠାେକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଗଇେ ନବେେ।
24Joseph said to his brothers, "I am dying, but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land to the land which he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob."
25ଆଉ ଯୋଷଫେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲଙ୍କର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରାଇଲେ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଯତ୍ନ ନବେେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦେଶକୁ ଆଗଇେ ନବେେ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମାରେ ଅସ୍ଥି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନଇୟିବେ।
25Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, "God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here."
26ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ରେ ଯୋଷଫେ 110 ବଯସ ରେ ମଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଶରୀରକୁ ସଂସ୍କାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ ଏବଂ ତାକୁ ମିଶର ରେ ଏକ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ମଧିଅରେ ରଖିଲେ।
26So Joseph died, being one hundred ten years old, and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.
