ଏହିପ୍ରକା ରେ ଯାକୁବ ଆପଣା ପିତାଠାରୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପାଇବା ହତେୁରୁ ଏଷୌ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଇର୍ଷାଭାବ ବହି ଏବଂ ସେ ସ୍ଥିର କଲା, ମୁଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବି ମାରେ ପିତାଙ୍କର ଶାେକର ସମୟ ବିତିବା ୟାଏ। ଏହାପରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତା ଯାକୁବକୁ ବଦ୍ଧ କରିବି।
World English Bible
Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. Esau said in his heart, "The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob."
